Sorry about the super late update! I've been a bit busy and lazy lately, and I've been having major writer's block!

So it turns out, Jake and Kate are demigods; the son of Poseidon and the daughter of Athena!

Here is the new chapter! Enjoy Sunshines!

Percy's POV:

All of us just stared at Jake and Kate, dumbfounded. We had no clue what to say, think, or do.

"Wait, how do you know the Minotaur's name?" Annabeth asked.

"Yeah, and what's with your weapons and that combat getup?" Piper asked with a bit of charmspeak in her voice.

Jake sighed and started explaining himself, how him and the Minotaur go back and their swords - Jake's Γηςσέικερ, or Earthshaker and Kate's υφαντής, or Weaver - and their other equipment.

"Well, around 6 years back, he started attacking me and Kay, in this town. So we decided to stay here; attending school, sharpening our skills, and fighting monsters.

Elias was the only monster that attacked us more than once. He used to come back every once in a while, but a couple of months ago, he started attacking us every week! Then recently, he stopped coming altogether...until now." Jake said with a hint of nostalgia in his tone.

I shuddered at the thought of fighting the Minot- er, Elias so many times! It must've given Jake and Kate a lot of experience.

Jake continued, "Moving on, Earthshaker is my long sword that used to belong to my mom, Amelia Weston. Kay's Weaver is a rapier/dagger that belonged to her dad, Cody Maverick."

Jake then pulled the futuristic gun from...out of his HAND? "Next is this special gun I carry. This is a fully-functional S.M.A.R.T. pistol, replicated from Titanfall the game." He explained. Leo just stared at it in awe. "It has an automatic targeting system designed only to lock on to monsters and enemies. It can lock on to 5 targets at once. It has a magical magazine ([A/N]: that's where bullets are stored in a gun, for those of you who don't know!) that refills itself with unlimited ammo."

He gave a brief explanation about the gloves. "These gloves that Kay and I wear are inventions I made that access a different dimension. It acts as a sort of storage locker for our weapons." Jake demonstrated its function by pulling out various Celestial Bronze weapons like throwing knives and stars, daggers, a bow and arrows.

"Lastly, our armor." He stated, tugging at his own trench coat. "It cloaks our demigod aura while we fight, so we can fight, full power, without attracting more unwanted enemies. They were made with Kay's sewing and designing skills, and her magic."

While Jake was talking, Kate was darkening the memories of the mortals, changing them just like how Thalia does. She looked really drained, like she was going to pass out soon.

"How did you two end up in this town?" Leo asked.

Jake turned his head towards a nearby window, nostalgia filling his eyes. He heaved a great sigh and answered Leo's question.

"7 years ago," he began, "Kay and I were put in an orphanage called 'Lady May's Home for Children of the Fallen' in Houston, Texas. There, we met a boy that befriended us. He was always cheerful and always made jokes, even when he was in pain. Then one day, he told us that he had to leave the orphanage because the adults were punishing him unfairly, because he accidentally killed his mom. So he left. Months later, we decided to leave as well. Then, Elias and other monsters started attacking us once we reached this town."

When Jake finished, Leo looked like he just got slapped in the face!

"Jacob? Kaitlin? Is that you?" Leo asked them with disbelief.

"It's nice to know you still remember us, Leo." Kate stated with a grin.

Wait, what? Jake and Kate have met Leo before?!

Finally, I'm done with this chapter! I had so much writer's block!
