Cassie and I had successfully watched two episodes of Gossip Girl, for me it was rewatching, since I wasn't as far back as she was. As the second episode ended, I felt as Cassie tensed up beside me, knowing instantly what was next for her.

I shut off my phone, quickly plugging it in to revive it before leaving. I turned to face Cassie, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze.

"You told me, it'll be like that but to three more people." I tried to comfort her, but it sounded a lot worse when I worded it like that. Cassie smiled up at me, a small laugh escaping her lips.

I hopped off my bed and grabbed my makeup wipes, then made my way back over to Cassie. I carefully removed the dried up mascara, grinning at Cassie's natural beauty beneath the foundation. When I was done, Cassie snatched the makeup wipes and removed all of her makeup. Whilst Cassie was busy doing this, I pulled out my phone to tell Avery and Saph to meet us in Cassie's room.

When she was done, she blew out a breath and closed her eyes, muttering things to herself.

"Remember, Cassie," I spoke up, interrupting her mutters and murmurs, "What happened was not your fault, the only person who holds shame for this is Harry." I told her sternly, making sure she understood her rights from his wrongs. Then, I carefully coaxed her off my bed, and soon, we were heading down the long and winding corridor. I only carried my phone, knowing that there was nothing I needed that was in my bag. Whereas, Cassie carried her school bag with her, ready to dump it in her room.

We got to Cassie's room in a considerable amount of time. I paused in front of her door. I slowly turned to Cassie and she slowly turned to me.

"Is this the wrong room?" She asks. I stifled a laugh.

"No," I told her, calming down. "I just wanted to ask one last thing before we go in." Cassie frowned but nodded.

I took a deep breath. "Are you pregnant?" Cassie stared. "I mean, because, I was in your room and I found a pregnancy test box and I–"

"I'm not." She interrupted. I was about to ask her if she was sure when she jumped in again. "I had to walk out the warehouse with ten boxes of pregnancy tests, I think I'm okay." She smiled lightly and I gazed at her for a few moments before I nodded and opened the door, repeating an earlier malfunction and practically walking into Avery. When she saw us, she frowned at Cassie, silently observing her and obviously seeing that something was wrong. Saph, however, was perched on Cassie's bed, flipping through a magazine with her leg jogging up and down. On our approach, she jumped up and threw the magazine God knows where.

"Cassie!" She shouted, not being as discreet as Avery was about being worried. She said nothing else as Cassie smiled at her. Kim's door opened and out came the girl, looking as badass as ever in black trainers, black skinny jeans, a—thankfully—grey tank top, but a black leather jacket over the top. As she walked in, she shed the jacket and looked over to all of us.

Skilfully making her way through all of us, she pulled Cassie in for a hug. "I know that when you call us all together that it's serious, so if it's not then you better be ready to get your arse kicked." Kim threatened after pulling away, giving Cassie a menacing glare. Cassie laughed and guided her over to the bed.

They both sat down and Avery and Saph made themselves comfortable on the bed too. I didn't want to get too involved, as if the fact that I've already been told the story rules me out of a girls night.

However, my awkward demeanour—as I leant against the door frame—faltered when Cassie turned to give me a desperate look. I nodded and shut the door behind me, sitting next to her on the end of the bed and squeezing her hand.

Avery looked between us, a frown forming between her brows as she tried to grasp onto the meaning of the conversation. Saph looked equally as confused, whereas Kim instantly jumped up, alert and ready to burn a bitch.

Cassie took a deep breath and I smiled at her, then, after a few seconds, she began to recall the horrifying events. It may sound theatric, but the story didn't go on without gasps or tears from the girls. As Cassie neared the end, she was just hanging onto sanity, though the hysterics were creeping out. I stole a glance at Kim, restraining myself from laughing as she looked fired up to hunt the guy down. Good.

Avery leaned in and pulled Cassie in for a hug, and then Saph joined in too. Avery smiled at me from where her chin rested on Cassie's shoulder, her hand rubbing Cassie's back. The smile said 'thanks for looking after her', or, at least, that's what I thought it meant.

Soon after we'd all hugged Cassie and gave her more comforting reassurances, Kim beckoned Cassie over. Kim embraced Cassie and whispered something into her ear. In response, Cassie smiled and nodded.

"We're going to get some pizza, see ya." Cassie told us with a wave over her shoulder as she followed Kim out of the room. I blew out a breath, feeling as if the elephant in the room officially left.

I smiled at Avery and Saph, "I'm going to go to the bathroom, maybe it'll help you guys to register everything." I announced and they just silently agreed. I walked into the bathroom, picking up Cassie's deodorant, trying to refresh myself after sweating buckets out of anticipation. Once I'd fiddled around with my outfit, patted down my crazy hair and used some of Cassie's perfume, I exited the bathroom.

Except, I didn't. My hand was on the handle when I heard hushed murmurs growing louder. I had left the door ajar so that the conversation was clear for my ears to hear.

"Why do you think she told Sky first?" I heard Saph ask Avery and I froze at the mention of my name.

"I don't think it matters; at least we know now." Avery said after she let out a sigh, and I could only imagine her fiddling with a strand of her hair.

"Yeah, but you guys have been friends for ages, I don't see why Sky was the first person who knew." Saph argued and I frowned. Are they seriously about to have an argument over who knew first?

"I don't really care, Saph. And to me it sounds like Cassie needed a bit of persuading anyway to fess up, I'm not pinning anything on Sky and quite frankly it's stupid too." Avery's voice pierced the air with dominance, with the type of speech that you'd expect to be at the end of an argument. But of course; it wasn't.

"Aren't you even the slightest bit annoyed that she told Sky fir–"

"Just quit it, okay, Saph? Enough." Avery bursted out, anger crawling out of her words. I suspected that Saph would pipe up again, so I quickly intervened.

"I'm going to go," I said as I walked out, plastering a fake smile on my face that told them I had just been looking at myself in the mirror for ten minutes—definitely not eavesdropping. Both girls looked startled at my entrance and Avery's surprise turned into a confused expression.

"Jameson's probably going to chip me when I get back," I sighed, trying to use Jameson as an excuse.

Avery nodded, "But don't you want to stay for the pizza?" She asked and I mentally screamed at myself for turning down pizza.

"No, thanks though, but I'll just eat in my room." I reassured her, smiling through gritted teeth as I mentally cursed to myself.

"Aren't they having a guardian meeting though, maybe Jameson's at that?" Saph put in with a shrug. I had to restrain myself from shouting at her, asking her if she actually cares. But I can't; because they don't know I heard.

"Probably, but better to be safe than chipped." I pointed out and Avery chuckled and waved.

"Bye." I said with a fake grin and a probably too enthusiastic wave before departing awkward-land. I shut the door behind with much relief, feeling the heavy weight of the awkwardness on my shoulder disappear.

I trudged down the corridors, desperately needing some sad music to come and narrate my life for me so I can be dramatically depressed. I sighed when I got to my door, knowing that, if there were songs playing, then now would be a great time for the funeral anthem.

I placed my hand on the handle, pushed the key in—the spare key that I had stolen—and turned it. I pulled the key out and hesitantly opened the door. The front door was the only door in this goddamn place that didn't creak, however, the click of the door unlocking usually gives one away.

I slowly pushed the door open and a figure jumped out from Jameson's room—the boy himself. I jumped slightly, but then grimaced as he gave me a raging glare. I shut the door behind me and held up my hands in mock surrender.

"I'm sorry!" I squealed before he threw me to Mars. Jameson sighed and ran a hand threw his hair before breaking through the silence.

"Where the hell have you been?"
