A few days before my hundredth show, I got a call from an unknown number.
"Is this Regan?" I don't have a chance to even say hello.
"Yes, this is Regan. What can I do for you?" I deliberately paused after their question to take a breath. I hear squeals of excitement in the background, by my guess I'm on speaker.
"Hello Regan, my names Nick. I'm the manager of the upcoming convention and wanted to ask you if you were free to make an appearance?"
"I'd love to come; I'll do more than just make an appearance." I pause to judge their reaction.
"Of course you do more than make an appearance. What did you have in mind?" Nick took the bait, like moths to a flame.
"I would like a room big enough with a stage. I plan on presenting more tricks I can do." I hear a few gasps from the other end followed by the squeals again.
"That can be arranged, your pass with be sent in the mail and the convention is on the twenty-seventh so one week from now." With that we say our goodbyes and hang up.

Excitement burns in my blood as I step on stagefor my hundredth show. I try not to getto excited, I don't want to cause any problems because my powers get out ofcontrol.
"How is everyone?" I call out to the crowd. No one noticed I was alreadystanding on stage.
"I have a special announcement and some new tricks to show you. First up thisis my hundredth show." As one the crowd cheers. As they calm down I continue.
"Who's going to the convention on the twenty-seventh?" A large majority ofhands go up.
"A lot of you'll. Big news... I will be at that convention." The crowd doesn't wait for me to finishbefore cheering at the top of their lungs, its deafening.

Continuing on through the show, I did the infamous transformation then on tonew tricks. I teleported around the room, created weapons out of thin air thensent them back to nothing. Each new trick brought on more cheers and applause.By the end of the show I was out of breath and red in the face.
