Bulkhead ran forward and gave his friend a bone crushing hug.

"Ugh! Hey Bulk." Wheeljack said trying to breath. The wrecker put his friend down and they playfully punched each other.

"Wheeljack, do you have any idea how this happened to you?" Optimus asked hopefully.

"I'm afraid not. I woke up one morning and found myself...smaller." He grumbled. "I'm guessing this is the Cons fault." He said glancing at the others.

"Your guess is as good as ours." Arcee grumbled folding her arms.

"I know this is difficult for everyone, but we must try and make do with what we have." Optimus said calmly. He walked over to the screen and paged the government agent. "Agent Fowler, we are going to need some sort of aircraft to get us to the Nemesis unnoticed, when the time comes." He said.

"Why not use Jackie's ship?" Bulkhead asked.

"I uh....had troubles getting it here... You know...being short and all." Wheeljack mumbled. Bumblebee, Smokescreen and Arcee looked at each other and smiled, knowing exactly how he felt.

They continued to talk and set a plan into motion for when they located the Desepticons. The kids played video games and listened as the day stretched on. Pretty soon the Autobot guardians started hanging out with the kids, and having fun. It got late and Mrs Darby said she would take the children home. The three kids got into her car and closed the doors as she spoke with the Autobots.

"Hey Jack." Miko said with a look of mischief.

"What?" He asked cautiously.

"I think your mom and Rachet like each other." She said smirking, the boys eyes widened.

"Don't joke like that Miko. That's just... That's just...No thats.... No." He said feeling flustered. She smirked again and gave him a look.

"Suit yourself. But just watch how they act around each other." She said mischievously.

Mrs Darby got into the car and as they drove away Jack looked back at the Autobots. He noticed Rachet was smiling ever so slightly as he watched them drive away. Jack turned around and his eyes grew wide. He hoped Miko was dead wrong.

The next night Miko was in her room finishing her homework, still trying to get ungrounded. She sighed heavily as she finished, and grabbed her guitar. She plopped on her bed and strummed a cord or two. The girl stopped when she heard her host dad raise his voice for a second. She sat up when she heard her name mentioned a few minutes later.

The girl set her guitar down, quietly walked to the door and opened it. She heard her host parents talking in the other room. Miko stepped out of her room and walked down a few steps. She stopped when she could hear them clearly and sat on the steps. She still couldn't see them, but she could make out what they said. She realized they were talking to her parents through Skype.

"Schools almost out and she needs to return to Japan." Her host mother said.

"We agree, but it's not the best time. There are too many things that have come up for her to return home." Her mom replied. "Neither of us will be home all summer, so it's better if she stays in America."

"Besides, you told us she is becoming a respectable young woman." Her dad said.

"Yes but the friends she has now are... Down right hooligans." Her host dad said angrily. "She can't stay here any longer. Not only do we have plans we can't get away from, but we are tired of her rebellious spirit!" He pounded the table angrily.

"We sent her to you so she would become more respectful, and less wild." Her dad said.

"Well it isn't working!" Her host dad said.

Miko listened as they continued to argue over who should take her for the summer. She bit back tears and quietly retreated to her room. The young girl quietly closed her door and flung herself onto the bed. She buried her head into her pillow and quietly sobbed. She didn't know why the grown ups didn't want her around. Her sobs slowly calmed down and she cried softly. Her pillow was wet but she didn't care, as she cried herself to sleep.

Miko woke up and looked at the time, her clock flashed 3:45 am. She laid there as last nights events came back to her. She tried to go back to sleep, but it wouldn't come. The girl glared at the clock and sat up. She looked around and nodded slowly as an idea came to her. She would run away.

The girl jumped off her bed and grabbed a backpack. She stuffed clothes and other important things into the bag. She grabbed the rest of the money she had been saving for a cooler guitar, and shoved it into the pack. She looked around for anything else she might need, and grabbed it. Finally she slung her guitar over her shoulders and opened the door. She took one last look of her room and closed the door. Miko quietly went downstairs and grabbed three water bottles put them in her pack, and grabbed a few snacks. The girl opened the front door and looked at the house one more time. She sighed heavily and walked out the door.

As Miko walked towards town, she realized she didn't have anywhere to go. She huffed angrily and figured she would get a ticket from the bus station to Las Vegas, than take an airplane to New York City and get a job as a musician. She smiled to herself and walked faster.

When she got to the bus station she looked at the time. The clock read 4:30 am. She folded her arms in frustration as she saw the office didn't open until 7:00 am. She was not in the mood to wait. Miko sat on the bench unsure what to do next. The wind blew a little and she shivered, the girl hugged herself to keep warm.

As she sat there her mind wandered to people she would be leaving behind. She thought of Raf and how he would be sad. She wondered what Jack would do, and than she thought about the Autobots. She sniffed a little as she thought of how sad Bulkhead would be. Her eyes widened as she remembered something.

"Wait....Bulkhead said he would always be there for me." She thought. Did he mean it? She pulled out her phone and looked up his number. The girls finger hesitated over the call button. She bit her lip and dialed his number.
