"So, are you able to sleep last night or should I say, this morning?" I ask Dean.

We are now on the road with Dean driving us home.

"Yup," he answers, popping the 'p'.

"That's good." I nod my head.

I rummage through my bag, searching for my earpods. When I have found it, I put the earpods in my ear and scroll through my playlist. I chose the song to be played and close my lids, letting the music blare through my ears. I begin humming along the song until it slowly becomes inaudible and without realizing it, I have fallen asleep.

~~~~~~~~~~
"Wake up, buttercup."
"Hmm," I mumur, shifting to the other side of the seat.
"Come on, we're here." He shakes my shoulders repeatedly.
I force my eyes to open until I am greet by a pair of green eyes, staring directly into my pair of brown ones.
"You're really a heavy sleeper," he says in amusement with a chuckle.
"No, I'm not," I respond with a pout.
"Yeah sure, whatever you say." He rolls his eyes. "All of them have went home, except you, Sam and me. Since I figured that you still wanted to sleep, I took it upon my kindness to drop them off first before you. But you don't have to thank me, I know I'm nice," he explains as his signature smirk appears.
I scoff. "Please, like I will thank you."
"But you just did," he replies, smirking even wider.
"Whatever." I roll my eyes.
Unfastening my seatbelt, I step out of the car and grab my bag from the boot of the car. I wave at Dean and Sam before walking into my house.
Time to continue my sleep.
~~~~~~~~~~

"Els, wake up. Dinner's ready."

Groaning, I say in a hoarse voice, "Leave me alone. I don't want to eat."

"Really?"

"Hmm," I reply.

A moment of silence passes by as I tighten my grip on Fluffy.

So comfy.

But then out of the blue, my face turns pale as cold water is splashed on it, causing me to shiver instantly. I widen my eyes immediately, gasping at the culprit in front of me.

"Do you have a death wish?!" I yell with all my might.

"Nope, because I know that you won't kill me. You love your brother too much," Edward voices out with a smirk attaches on his face.

My blood boils and fume starts to come out of my ears as I try to keep my anger under the maximum limit. My eyes travel across the room to look for a weapon to be threw at Edward and they stop at the sight of a pillow on my side. Grasping the pillow strongly, I throw it at Edward's direction but he skillfully dodges it and runs out of my room.

"I hate you!" I scream.

I roll my eyes, remembering his childish behavior and begin to drag my butt out of my comfortable bed. I limp to the bathroom to start my shower.

~~~~~~~~~~
Soon after I have done freshening up, my iPhone starts to ring. Unlocking it, I take a glimpse at the called ID before answering the call.
"Dean?"
"Don't forget about tomorrow."
"What about tomorrow?" I ask and furrow my eyebrows in confusion.
"Don't you remember? Tomorrow is Sunday."
"No shit, Sherlock. What do we have on Sunday?" I roll my eyes although he can't see me.
"I'll let that one slide. So, we're gonna meet my mom tomorrow, like I told you before."
I choke on air. "What?!"
"I'll pick you up at around 11.00 a.m. for our lunch," he answers. I'm sure as hell he is smirking right now.
Just as I'm about to reply, I hear someone yelling at Dean in annoyance. It sounds like Sam. "I've got to go. Bye," he whispers before hanging up on me without waiting for my reply.
"Crap. What have I gotten myself into?" I whisper to myself with a grunt. I drop myself onto my bed and heave a sigh.
"Els! Dinner!" Edward shouts from outside of my room.
"Coming!"
~~~~~~~~~~

I hit the snooze button when my alarm goes off. My eyes nearly pop out of their sockets when I take a quick look at the time.

10.50 a.m.

I gasp in horror with wide-eyed.

I'm so screwed! Dean will arrive in about 10 minutes, and here I am, still in my bed, I haven't even showered let alone dressed up!

Gulping nervously, I sprint towards my bathroom to take a shower as fast as lightning. I put my hair in a bun before I let the warm water runs down my body, covering all parts of my body except my hair. I can't bother to wash my hair in this emergency situation.

After I have dried up my body using my favorite maroon towel, I steal a glance at the clock on the wall.

10.55 a.m.

5 more minutes!

I throw myself into an oversized white sweatshirt and a dark blue skinny jeans. Releasing my hair from the bun, I brush it quickly until it doesn't look as messy as before. In fact, it looks kind of good.

Nice job. I nod and smile at myself.

Ring. Ring.

I grab a pair of brown boots and my cream colored handbag before rushing downstairs to meet up with Dean.

"Hey Ellen, Drew. How are you?" I hear Dean asking them as I run down the stairs.

"We're fine. How are you, son? Why didn't you come here before?" my dad greets him warmly.

"I'm fine too. Thank you for asking," Dean answers with a grin. "Actually Elisa didn't invite me, so I couldn't come here although I would love to."

Slowing down my pace, I walk to them and roll my eyes. "Yeah, because he's a pain in the ass."

"That's not the way to talk to your boyfriend. Apologize, El," my mom warns me while my dad shakes his head.

"He's not my boyfriend," I mutter, pouting at my mom.

"Boyfriend or not, he's our guest. Mind your language, young lady. Apologize," my mom says in a stern voice.

"I'm sorry," I murmur insincerely.

"What? I can't hear you," Dean lies, trying his best to hide his smirk.

"I'm sorry!" I half-shout. Giving him a death glare, I mouth 'you're dead' to him before faking a smile to my parents.

Dean Winchester, you're so dead.

~~~~~~~~~~
"Why lunch? Why not dinner?" I ask Dean with a hint of puzzlement.
"Because tonight is a school night."
"So what? It's not like you're going to sleep early anyway."
"But my dad and Sammy don't know about this. I just want to avoid them from asking millions of questions about my whereabouts if I go out on a school night.
"What? They don't know? You haven't told them?" I ask, unable to hide my surprise.
"No, I want to keep it a secret for the time being."
"But, doesn't she want to meet Sam too?"
"She wants to start off with me first, then after I'm okay I guess, she'll show herself to Sam."
"I see." I nod my head.
We arrive at the nearby mall 10 minutes later. Following Dean into the mall, I let out a chuckle when we are in front of a fast food restaurant.
"McDonald's? Really?"
"What? It's convenient and cheap," he defends himself as a smirk curves his lips.
He leads me to a vacant table before we plop into the seats.
"I'll order for us. Stay here," Dean says and leaves to line up at the counter. The line is quite long, so it'll take him a while to order our food.
Taking out my iPhone from my handbag, I scroll through my messages to fulfill my time ... and to prevent the awkwardness for sitting here alone.
"Hi, you must be Elisa right?" A woman who seems like she is in her mid 40's greets me. Despite her age, she is definitely pretty.
When she notices that I'm still looking at her without uttering anything, she continues, "I'm Mary, Dean's mother. I met him at the counter and he pointed at you, asking me to come over here."
"Oh," I mumble as my senses start to come back. "Hi," I greet, getting up from the seat before I extend my hand to her.
She accepts my hand and shakes it. "Nice to meet you," she says with a broad smile.
"Nice to meet you too," I reply, plastering a smile. "Have a seat."
Sitting down, she stares at me for a moment that causes me to feel uneasy.
"Is there something wrong?" I ask her in confusion.
"No, it's just that you're really pretty. Maybe that's why Dean..."
Dean interrupts us by releasing the tray onto the table harshly. Plopping into the seat next to me, he looks at both of us to and fro before saying, "Come on. Dig in."
~~~~~~~~~~

"And you know, when he was 3, we took him to a petting zoo. He instantly made friends with the billy goat. The goat seemed sick, so little Dean who didn't know any better, lifted the goat's tail and took its temperature ... with his finger," Mary finishes her story with a laugh.

"You did what?!" Turning my attention to Dean, I widen my eyes in horror. "Ew." I look at him in pure disgust.

So far, I'm the only one who is dominating the conversation with Mary, since Dean has been acting awkward and being quiet.

"I was 3! No 3 years old boy was in his right mind! I just acted using instinct," he defends himself, looking at me and I mean only me. He doesn't even look at his own mother.

"Now I've found a new profound respect for you," I say, stifling a laugh. "Respect for trying to cure the goat, by shoving your finger up its ass," I finish off my sentence and laugh like a maniac.

Oh my, this is so damn hilarious.

~~~~~~~~~~
"Can I see you again, Dean?" Mary asks as her eyes hold a glimpse of hope.
"Um... yeah, sure," Dean answers, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. He diverts his gaze from his mom so that he won't meet his mom's eyes.
"And I'm looking forward to meet this young lady again." She turns her attention to me with a smile attaches on her face.
"Sure," I reply, mimicking her smile.
"Bye," she says and waves at us before walking away.
"She seems ... pretty nice," I mutter when she is out of our view.
"I don't know about that. I still can't forget what she did to us, to our family and especially to my dad."
"I can't be the judge of that because I wasn't in your shoes, but don't you think that she genuinely cares about you? Everyone in the world makes a mistake, but the hardest part is to realize the mistake that you've done and being able to fix it. It's obvious that she's trying to fix her relationship with her own blood and flesh, who is none other than you. At least she's trying, you know? Give her a chance."
He releases a sigh. "I'll think about it." Changing the topic, he says, "Now, since we're at the mall, why don't we take this chance to go shopping? I need to buy some clothes and jeans anyway."
I contemplate for a while. Shrugging, I reply, "Sure, why the hell not?"
