When Hogarth got off the phone with his mother, he saw Robin on the living room floor, looking at a picture of their father. A tear slid down her check.

Feeling bad for Robin, Hogarth sat down beside her and embraced her in a warm hug.
"I miss dad."
"I know, I miss dad, too. But he'll always be with us, no matter what."
"How can he be  with us, when he not physically here?"
"He's in your soul, and souls never die, remember when mom told that?"
"Yes."
"Come on, let's go have dinner at the table, then we can get ready for a movie."
Robin perked up at the mention of movie night.
"Really, but what about Mom?"
"Don't worry, she won't know."
"Oh, can we watch a sci-fi horror movie. I want to pick one out".
Hogarth laughed.
"Of course, Robin. The scarier the better."

Later that night at 9:05, Hogarth, Robin, and Springer were in a fort that they made watching a Sci -if horror movie as promised.
"Why the porpoise can communicate telepathically, miss Mullen, we can transfer at least 15% of their brain matter into ours we may be able to read mind."
Hogarth filled a Twinkie with whipped crème and ate it, whipping the whipped crème off his face. Robin was eating a Twinkie as well and feed one to Springer, who took it with his slingshot tongue.
In the movie, glass shatters and a brain is on the floor.
"Darn. A perfectly good brain waisted I think you've seen enough. How about a night Cap, let's say my place."

Hogarth and Robin rolled their eyes. "Oh sheesh."
Miss Mullen giggled.
"I was thinking the same thing too, mindreader.
Darn I seem to have left my keys in the lab."

Hogarth and Robin filled their mouths with popcorn.
On the tv, the man goes back into the lab to get his keys. He tries turning on the life but it won't turn on.
"Hmm."
The Brain creeps across the floor.
"You're gonna get it," Robin and Hogarth said in unison.
The man picks up his keys and here's shattering noises. At the exact same time, Hogarth and Robin heard a noise as well
"Who's there."

With his toy gun and Robin's arms wrapped around his waist, Hogarth slowly crept up the stairs, wondering where the noise was coming from.
Just then the man on the tv cried,
"No. No! NO!l"
Quickly the two kids scrambled down the stairs and see the Brain attack the man but suddenly the Tv goes static.
Both Hogarth and Robin were annoyed.
"Awww come on." Hogarth smacked the tv to make it work but it was still static.
"Stupid antenna."
