The sun was setting behind the walls. Mikasa watched it from a window before she went up the stairs. The scouts, mainly Mikasa, Armin, Connie, Sasha, Annie, and Jean were there.

"To think Commander Pyxis would go so far as to detain the volunteers." Jean said thoughtfully.

"Since they and the Scouts are so close, we weren't told in advance." Armin said. 

"Yeah. I'm sure he didn't have much choice. During our time in Marley and other nations, they have been in a real pickle... but what exactly was the Military Police going to do with Eren..."

Just then Floch and Louise walked into the room. Floch said, "The Garrison and the Military Police are plotting together to get rid of the Scouts."

"Floch? Louise?" Sasha asked. "What do you mean by that?"

"Eren Yeager thought that Premier Zachary was plotting with Commander Pyxis and Commander Nile, they were going to take the power of the Founding Titan by force. You guys may have done the uprising, however, those selfish people thought we Scouts have taken their glory and they wanted to take it back."

Floch said, "To do so, they would need to get the power of the Founding Titan. That's why before arresting the Anti-Marleyan Volunteers, they forced them to hand over the Titan serum so they could have the Founding Titan control us."

"I won't let them!" Mikasa said. "There's no future without Eren, that's what the deceased commander Erwin said to us!"

"Without Eren, we wouldn't be able to have all of the power of the nine in our proposal." Annie said. "This is treason."

"What was the queen's plan?" Armin asked, and Floch said, "We're going to reveal that Eren's the true King of Eldia. The people need to know the truth."

"But that would cause chaos..." Jean said, but Louise said, "The people will stand by the side of us Scouts. That was what Eren saw in the future memories. Eren had the power of the War Hammer and Jaw right now, he could also escape the place as soon as possible."

The others could only nod before Floch and Louise left. At the same time, Eren was glaring at the wall in front of him.

It was a full moon, Scouts were drinking wine, talking, and laughing. Levi was watching Zeke, who was sitting across from him in front of a campfire and reading a book.

Gabi and Falco were in their cell. Gabi lay on her bed, jerking around with wide eyes while she let out audible noises.

"Gabi! Hey! What's wrong?!" Falco asked concerned, running over to her. "Hey! Get hold of yourself!"

A guard rushed over to their cell. "What's wrong?! What happened?!" He unlocked the cell while Falco answered him.

"She suddenly started wailing in pain." Falco stepped to the side as the guard went to Gabi concerned.

"Hey! You okay, missy?" Suddenly, Gabi hit the man with her jacket against his head. Something hard was wrapped in it. The guard fell to the ground, his eyes were wide with shock. Gabi hit him again and again until Falco ran to her. "Gabi, that's enough!"

Her jacket fell to the ground, revealing a brick. The guard lay dead on the ground while she was panting heavily.

Gabi and Falco ran away from the prison. Falco asked, "How's running away gonna help?!" 

"We'll be killed if we stay!" Gabi said.

"That guy was worried about you!"

"Can you trust those devils?!" She asked. "I can't even trust Zeke anymore! Or anyone else!"

Reiner woke up in his bed with a gasp. He stared for a moment at the ceiling before he sat up. He was panting as someone spoke to him.

"Having nightmares or something?" Reiner looked to his right and saw a girl on a chair. It was not just her, Porco and Pieck were beside them. "If only it had all been just a dream."

Reiner stared at the girl, who had blonde hair and looked just like Willy. He said, "Gloria... what are you doing here?"

"What do you think? I'm treating your injuries." The girl named Gloria sighed.

Gloria was a nurse that helped treat the warrior and warrior candidates from injuries. She didn't have an armband, but Colt seemed to develop a crush on her.

"I heard Gabi and Falco's voices." Reiner told them. "Where are those two?"

Gabi and Falco were by a river. Gabi was washing her face as Falco stood behind her and looked around. His armband was gone. "We must've gone pretty far. We ran all through the night." He turned to Gabi. "Hey, take off your armband. You'll stand out."

She stared at the river in front of her. "If any normal person sees it, they won't know what it means."

"But soldiers will know what it is. Just take it off." Falco told her.

"There are no soldiers out here in the sticks."

"Someone will see it eventually! Who knows if we'll make it back home?!"

"I don't plan to." She told him. "I just wanna get answers from Zeke before I'm caught and killed. "Did you really betray us and Marley?" "Why did you do it?" " She stood up. "You can do whatever you want. You don't have to follow me."

Falco looked down. "Fine, then." He walked up to Gabi. "I'll do whatever I want, starting with trashing this." He grabbed her armband and pulled it off.

Gabi grabbed him by his collar and pushed him to the ground. "Give it back!"

"Ugh!" He looked up at her. "What for?! What's the point of even wearing it here?!"

"I'm a good Eldian!" She screamed at him. "Without that, I'm the same as the island devils!"

"What are you saying?! You're acting crazy!"

"Then, just leave me alone!"  It was silent for a moment before she spoke again. "Why.. did you come with me? You didn't have to die, too!"

He gasped slightly before they were interrupted by Kaya, who stood by a tree. "What are you doing?"

They looked at her, shocked that someone was actually there. Kaya said, "It's so early in the morning. Where did you come from?"

They glanced at each other, their breaths hitching. Falco sat up while Gabi spoke up. "I-I don't wanna say. We hated our home and ran away from it all." As she spoke, she discreetly picked up a rock by her leg which Falco noticed while Gabi glared at Kaya. "So, we can't go back."

Kaya stared blankly at them for a moment. "I see. Are you guys hungry?" She turned to leave. "I live nearby, so follow me."

Gabi and Falco looked at each other in disbelief. After a while, they were now on a farm, multiple horses were behind fences. Beside the fence were two farmhouses and a barn.

Kaya stopped and turned to them. "Please, wait here."

Gabi placed her hands on the fence and looked at the horses. Falco joined her as she spoke up. "Let's take the horse and run."

Falco looked at her with surprise, "What are you talking about?"

"They'll come and search here, too. We've gotta run farther." She turned her head to look at him. "Besides, I'm not gonna share a meal with devils."

"Listen here - " Falco said.

"All right! Come on in!" They turned around and saw Kaya at the entrance. "Come on in!"

Falco waved back at her. "O-Okay! We'll be right there!" He turned to Gabi again. "I'll do all the talking, so keep your mouth shut."

When they go inside the room, they are surprised to see a lot of children having meals, and besides Kaya, Historia was also there, pregnant with Eren's child. Historia said, "So you two ran away from home? Who might you be?"

They weren't expecting to see a pregnant woman in front of them. Falco said, "Nice to meet you! We're siblings, Ben and Mia! We have our reasons, but we ran away from home! We'll do whatever work you want! Please, let us stay for just a few days!" He placed his hand on the back of Gabi's head and forced her to bow while he does the same. "Please!"

Historia sighed and said, "Please don't bow like that. Anyway, welcome to the Reiss farm. You can stay as long as you like. You can also join us for breakfast."

With the staff members serving the two of them plates of food, Historia was smiling at Gabi, who stared ahead with fear on her face.

"You guys must be tired, right? We have some spare rooms so you could take a rest after eating." Historia said.

Just as the maid placed her hand on Gabi's head but she slapped her hand away, Falco looked at her in horror while the others stared at her surprised.

Historia said to the maid, "That's not right." She turned to Gabi and said, "I'm sorry. I'm sure you have been through a lot."

Falco placed his hand on Gabi's shoulder and formed a closed-eyed smile up at the adults. "Well..." Gabi stuttered while Falco shrieked.

"Sorry about my little sister!" He turned back to the food in front of him. "Th-Thanks for breakfast!" He grabbed the wooden spoon and started eating. " Delicious! It's so good! It is really so good!" He complimented while the other orphans looked at them with sadness.

He turned to Gabi. "C'mon! Eat up, Mia!"

Her hand shook as she scooped up a small portion of the spoon and brought it to her mouth all while Kaya stared at her with a blank face.

At the port, Kiyomi stood, with a few guards behind her, in front of Commander Zachary, behind him stood a few soldiers.

"Congratulations on your successful campaign against Marley. The Leaders of Hizuru have nothing but praise for Eldia's bravery." Kiyomi told him.

Zachary had a frown on his face. "We're deeply honored. Welcome to the world's most dangerous island."

"Indeed." She agreed. "But this time, our goal is to witness said danger in person."

Zachary looked past Kiyomi at something that was behind her. "Is that the observation craft you've spoken of?"

Kiyomi turned around. "Yes." Something big was hidden under a big cloth. It was on a wooden floater, which floated on the water behind the ship. "It may just be the world's first flying boat powered by Iceburst Stone. With it, we will ascertain the true power of the rumbling."

At the gate of the military HQ was a crowd of people talking to someone. 

"Are the rumors true about Eren Yeager being imprisoned and the volunteers detained? We want an explanation, Hange!" Flegel begged her. "Why are these orders to evacuate Shiganshina?! Reeves Company was put in charge of rebuilding it!"

"Ask the Military Police." She simply answered him as she walked towards the gate.

The young reporter from the newspaper stepped in her way. "Hange! Yeager's victory opened the path to our future! A future where Eldians can live! If that's true, all Eldians should have a voice in how Yeager is handled!"

The other reporter from the newspaper frowned at her. "Hange, you once said, "Taxpayers decide what to make of the information." Have you changed your views?"

She gritted her teeth and walked forward and put her right hand on the reporter's arm. "The situation has changed! Our walls are open to the world! The meaning of info has changed!" She pushed the reporter carefully to the side.

"I know you're in a tough situation, Hange." Flegel said. "So look me in my eyes and tell me I can trust you."

She opened the gate and looked over her left shoulder at them. "The deceased Commander Erwin said, "There is no future without Eren." I promise, we of the Scouts won't let anything happen to Eren Yeager. This is all for the sake of the Eldian people." She walked in and closed the gate while the crowd watched her leave.

And here is a new chapter, in this chapter, I decide to change the place where Kaya brings Gabi and Falco because Sasha is still alive all this time. I hope you like this chapter.
