As their flight landed back in Chennai, Rojun couldn't wait to reach home and give the joyful news to everyone in the family. Oh! How happy they would be to hear all about it.

And that's exactly what happened
The family's joy knew no bounds when Rojun informed them of all the unexpected happenings in Delhi.

Dr Mehra and his wife were having a serious conversation.

Mrs Mehra : Ashok will definitely ask you about whether Arjun came to meet you or not. What are you going to do?

Dr Mehra : I'll definitely not tell him about me patching up with Arjun and all that happened here. Then he will surely come up with plans to ruin it. Hence am going to maintain my enmity with Dr. Arjun in front of him.

Mrs Mehra : That's the right move, dear. Ashok must not come to know anything till the court hearing is over successfully.

No sooner than they finished talking, Dr. Mehra's phone rang. And just as they had guessed, it was an anxious Ashok who was calling up.

Dr Mehra calmly attended the call.

Ashok (anxious) : Dr. Gautham! Arjun ungala ethuvum contact pannana?

Dr. Mehra : Intha paaru Ashok, ennode miga periya ethiri na Intha ulagathula Antha Arjun mattom than. Avan pera marubidiyum marubidiyum en kitta edukatha.

Ashok was very happy when he heard that his #1 enemy had got insulted at Dr. Mehra's place. Yet he had some suspicions

Ashok : Naa ungala nambalama, Dr. Gautham?

Dr. Mehra : Enna Ashok...Enkooda 25 Crores ku dealing laam vechikittu Ippo ippdi santhega padalama? Naa unakkaga evlo risk eduthu irukken. Ithellam unakku theriyatha?

Mrs Mehra watched her husband talk so convincingly to Ashok. She was amazed at his acting skills. She smiled watching the conversation between her husband and Ashok. Finally, Ashok's suspicions lost to Dr. Mehra's convincing skills. He was so convinced by the way Dr. Mehra spoke that he believed him completely.
After a long convo, Dr. Mehra cut the call. He looked at Mrs Mehra who was watching him in awe. Both of them burst out laughing thinking of Ashok's impending fate.

That night, Arjun, Roja, Ashwin & Deepa were gathered in Rojun's room to discuss the next course of action, as always.

She turned towards Arjun smiling mischievously who in turn winked at her.

Having thus planned their course of action, Ashwin filed a case against Ashok Selvan. Soon a court summon was sent to Ashok asking him to be present in the court on a specified date. Police constables were posted at Ashok's house on Ashwin's legal request, incase he planned to escape before the hearing date. Rojun called up Dr. Mehra asking him to be present on the day of the hearing, who promised them that he'd be there promptly.

Meanwhile Ashok was perplexed when he received the court summon. He saw that Arjun had filed a case against him and wondered what evidence Arjun had,  enough to file a case against him
Nevertheless he arranged for a defence lawyer to defend him at the court.
He was confident that he'd smash the case.

The hearing wasn't after a long time. It was just about a week away.
Days flew by in no time. Soon it was the day before the hearing.

Everyone had finished dinner and paati, Prathap, Arjun, Ashwin, Deepa, Yashoda, Balu and the children had gone to their respective rooms.
Kalpana and Sumathi were in the kitchen. Sumathi was doing the dishes while Kalpana was boiling milk in a saucepan. Just then Roja came in with a glass. She saw Kalpana boiling milk

Roja : Paal yaruku athai? Mama ka?

Kalpana : Illa Roja. Avar Inniki ennamo paal vendam nu sollitaru. Ithu Arjun kaga than kaatchitu irukken.

Kalpana nodded reluctantly and left.
Somewhere from a distance, Arjun was listening to their conversation
He smiled and went back to his room

Roja began boiling the milk cheerfully. Soon after, Sumathi was done with the dishes too.

Sumathi : Roja. En velai mudinchithu. Unakku ethavthu help venuma ma? Naa vena irunthu Intha paal paathiratha wash pannitu pogava Roja?

Roja : Ungaluku Vera thaniya sollanuma aunty? Neenga nimmathiya poi thoongunga. Intha oru paathiratha Naa wash pannika mattena

Sumathi also left. Roja lovingly boiled the milk. She also crushed almonds and pistachios to add in the milk and mixed some saffron strands lovingly into milk. After all, she was making it for her Arjun sir. Soon the milk was ready. It had a pleasant aroma and a frothy texture. Roja transferred it to a glass.

She eagerly climbed up the stairs to take it to Arjun when she suddenly felt dizzy. Moments later she became unconscious and her head was about to hit the marble stair when a hand caught her and prevented the grave mishap.

It was Arjun!

"Roja! Roja!
Enna paaru. Enna paaru da...!"

He lifted the unconscious Roja and gently took her to his room. He made her lay on the bed and slapped her cheeks lightly. He checked her pulse. It was dropping. He sprinkled some water and made her sit up.
When Roja regained consciousness, Arjun looked at her with a piercing questioning gaze.

"Sir Naa ungaluku paal kaatchi kondu vanthen. Naa poi eduthutu varen sir..."

Just as Roja hurriedly got up and turned to leave, Arjun caught her hand firmly.
She turned back slowly to meet his eyes, which explicitly indicated his anger and disappointment.

"Ellar melayum akkarai kaatra mogathula unnaiyave maranthuta la?!"

"Sir Enna sir solringa Neenga..."

Roja lowered her gaze. She couldn't reply to his question

Sari, Ellarum sapta appram sapduva, pasi illa pola nu Naa nenacha, Ellarum saptu mudichu Sumathi amma sapadrapo kooda nee sapadala. Unakku Avlo pasi. Atha Naa unna paatha odane therinjikitten. Aana nee appdi irunthum Antha pasi ah control panna 4 glass thanni eduthu kudicha. Athayum Naa paathen...

Roja stammered
"Illa s...sir! Naa nalla.. than sapadren.."

Roja's eyes welled up with tears of joy to see Arjun's care for her. How much he noted each and every action of hers.

She immediately went and sat beside Arjun and looked straight into his eyes.
His pupils spoke of unsaid emotions and she could see only pure concern for her health in those eyes.

Arjun was rendered speechless at her revelations.

Arjun felt overwhelmed to receive this unconditional love from his better half.
He hugged her tightly

"Nee seekirame Enna palaya Dr. Arjun ah, nee love panna Dr. Arjun ah paaka than pora Roja. Athukana naal vanthachu...!"

Roja hugged her hubby back tightly too. After pouring all their love they had for each other, Arjun caught Roja's chin and made her face up.

"Ivlo neram nee solratha Naa ketten. Ippo Naa solratha nee kekkanum..."

Saying this he quickly went down. He found the rest of the milk in the saucepan. He quickly heated it. Meanwhile just like Roja did , he crushed nuts, dry fruits and saffron and added it into the milk. He filled a glass full of it and went back to his room.

"Nee Ippo Enna eppdi vena paaru. Un purushan Arjun ah paaru, illa Dr. Arjun ah paaru. Athellam un istam. Aana Ippo nee Intha glass paal ah oru drop kooda micham vekkama kudichu mudikanum. Roja made a puppy face initially and then caved in to his 'request'

"Unga paasathuku munnadi ennode vairagiyam thotthu pochu. Paal ah kudunga Arjun sir.."

"Nee okkaru. Naane unakku kudukaren." ☺️

He made her sit comfortably in the bed and slowly wrapping his one hand around her, sat next to her and made her drink the entire glass of milk, just like a mother would feed her child.

"Thank you Arjun sir."
"Thanks to you too Roja, for everything...." ♾️
