When the third announcement was made, Roja was on the verge of tears. She knew that this was the final call, post which the boarding gates would close. Arjun was still nowhere to be seen. Having no other choice, she walked towards the boarding gate and checked in with her boarding pass. Arjun had taken his boarding pass in his jacket pocket.

Worried sick, Roja sat down in the window seat, waiting for the empty aisle seat next to her to be filled. The aircraft was nearly full and the gates were about to be shut....

"Gates closing..." boomed the announcement

Roja shut her eyes tightly. Tears of fear and concern rolled down her cheeks.

Just then she felt a soft hand on her shoulder. She turned and was speechless to see Arjun standing there, wearing a broad smile on his face.
Unmindful of the surroundings, she quickly leapt onto him and wrapped him in a tight hug. Within few seconds, Arjun could feel wetness in this tee and he knew that she was shedding tears. All her worst fears which she had felt in the last few mins were manifesting themselves in the form of her tears.

"Roja...Shhh...shhh...azhatha da...Enna paaru..."

Arjun tried to console her by lightly tapping on her chin. She buried herself deeper into his chest. It took a lot of coaxing and cajoling and three warnings from the cabin crew to make Roja settle back in her seat.

As soon as the flight was into the clouds,
Roja turned towards Arjun and started punching him angrily

"Dei! Kooruketta manusha!
Washroom poitu varen nu sollitu enga da pona...?!"

Arjun was stunned
"Dei...Da... va?! Enna mariyathai ellam kaathula parakuthu?!" 😳

Arjun was overwhelmed by her words.
Roja turned her face away from him angrily. That's when Arjun slowly brought his other hand to the front, which he was keeping behind his back all this time.

It had a box. Arjun gently placed his one finger on Roja's chin and turned her face towards him.

Roja : 😏

Arjun : This is for you (gently placing the box on her palm)

Roja : Ithu ennathu?

Arjun : Open panni paaru 😍

She opened it half heartedly, still angry on her hubby, but her lips curved into a beautiful smile as soon as she opened the box and saw its contents.

He explained, pouting cutely. It was now his turn to turn his face away from her.

Roja was ecstatic. She felt bad for having scolded him before.

She sobbed silently burying herself in his chest.

Saying this, Arjun planted a sweet kiss on Roja's forehead. No words came out of her mouth, she couldn't speak. She was soaking in all the love her beloved hubby was showering on her. She snuggled deeper into his warmth.

It was a moment to be cherished, for both of them, among the clouds ☁️❤️

📍 A U S T R A L I A 📍

After a long flight of nearly 8 hours from Singapore, Rojun landed in Sydney's Kingsford Smith Airport. After completing the immigration and baggage procedures, Rojun finally got to witness the raising sun in Australia after long hours of being cooped up in the airport and aircraft

Yes, the sun was just rising at the time they got out of the airport. It was dawn in Australia and the sky was strewn with a beautiful shade of peach and purple.

Arjun booked an Uber that took them from the airport to the hotel. And throughout the ride, both of them were drinking the views of the picturesque scenery around them
It was magical to see the city in the calmness of the early morning hours.
Within half an hour they reached the hotel. Their family had already booked everything for them, so all they needed to do was to check their booking at the reception.

They were greeted by a sweet lady at the reception who welcomed them warmly.
They were also served a quick welcome drink, while the receptionist checked their booking

Arjun : My name is Arjun Prathap, coming from Chennai, India. Could you please check the booking in my name...

Receptionist: G'day sir G'day Maam, please have a seat and your welcome drink while we check your booking

After 5 mins,

Receptionist: Yes sir, there's an honeymoon suite booked in the name of Mr and Mrs Arjun. The room number is 2424, and here are your keys. We wish you a pleasant stay here! 😍

Rojun thanked the receptionist, took their keys and began walking to their room, while an attendant walked behind them carrying their luggage.

As they walked towards their room

Roja : Veetla ellarum onnu onnayum paathu paathu senjirkanga la sir...

Arjun : Ama Roja, ivlo kammiyana time la ivlo azhaga honeymoon suite laam book panni irukkanga☺️

Soon they reached the room and opened the door. They were greeted by a lovely sight in front of them.

Lazy Authoruuu : I think the picture speaks louder than my words. I needn't describe the room right? Hehehe 🤓😝

As soon as they entered the room, they set their things in the right places and freshened up. After freshening up, while Arjun went and laid straight on the bed, Roja, who was enthralled to be surrounded by water, wanted to go for a swim. It was a beautiful sunny morning, and she badly wanted to swim.
However Arjun was in no mood to swim. She nudged him

Roja : Sir! Vaanga sir..
Konja neram swimming poitu varalam sir...Inga periya swimming pool irukku

Arjun (groggy) : Illa Roja Enakku thookama varuthu. Flight la vera naa thoongave illa. Naa konja neram thoonga poren. Nee swimming poitu va.

Roja (slightly disappointed but hiding it)

Arjun closed his eyes as soon as Roja said this and was asleep in mins. She quickly changed to her swimsuit which she had packed, headed to the swimming pool and   dived into its cool waters. It felt refreshing and soothing for her. She splashed around the waters and was having a merry time. That's when she spotted a couple on the other end of the pool. They were intimate and were lost in each other's company. They seemed oblivious to their surroundings. Roja smiled, but she yearned for Arjun's company.

Roja (to herself) : Cha! Enna irunthalum Arjun sir kooda irunthu iruntha super ah irunthu irukkum! Avangala mathri nammalum santhoshama irunthu irukkalam...

Thus, lost in thoughts, she slightly ventured farther into the pool, accidentally crossing the safety line and going into the deeper waters. She didn't realise that until she felt herself getting pulled by the strong water currents
That's when she felt a strong pair of arms around her waist safeguarding her just like a float ring. She automatically felt herself floating.

She turned around to find her man floating next to her, hardly a feet away. He had his strong muscular arms wrapped around her waist.

Roja became wide eyed.
He was wearing a black cut baniyan and black shorts, exposing his musculature. His hair and face was wet, with droplets of water trickling down from his hair to his face. She was automatically drooling at his sight. He looked at her intensely but his eyes had an unsaid calm in them.

They were still in same position. She was agape. Seeing her motionless face, Arjun waved his hand in front of her face, still there was no reaction from her
Roja simply had butterflies in her stomach, seeing him in this form.

Arjun, understanding what her mindset was, smiled mischievously. He shook her and that's when she came back to the real world.

Roja : Huh-uh! Sir? 🙈
Arjun : Enna Rose uh! Ippdi pechu moochu illama irukka? 😉

Roja blushed under the gaze of his obsidian eyes.

Roja : Sir, Neenga ippdilam Vantha Naa eppdi sir...pechu...moochu...🙈

Arjun neared her, now there was hardly any distance between them. In such close proximity that Rose could feel his breath under her skin

Arjun : Rose uh! Ennaiye sight adikiriya😉

Roja : 🙈❤️

She ran her wet fingers through his hair and all his facial features, still blushing.

Arjun was also mesmerised by her, specifically in that costume. In fact it was that very costume and her appearance in the swimsuit while leaving the room that made Arjun get up forgetting all his tiredness and sleep. Yes! He wasn't asleep. When Roja left the room in her swimsuit, Arjun had caught a sight of her and that was it. That was the death knell to his tiredness and sleep.

Arjun : Aahaan! Enna ippdi rasikura ithey aal than Ippo oru 5 mins munnadi ennaiye thoongu moonji nu kaluvi oothichu la😛

Roja (surprised) : Sir...! Appo Neenga Athellam...achoo🫣

Arjun : Ellam ketten madam! 😉

Roja : Sir! Thappa eduthukathinga...
Atho Antha Pakkam Antha jodi appdi paatha odane Neenga illaye nu upset aayiten. Athula Ennaiye ariyama konjam vaarthai ah vittuten 🫣

Arjun : Enna nee! Unakku mattom than ennaiye rasikka theriyuma. Naangalum rasippom la 😉
Nee room ah vittu swimsuit la veliya pona la, Appo naa unna paathen rose uh 😌

Roja understood the meaning of his words very well. She was more than happy too. They got intimate too. After a blissful hour at the pool, both headed to their room, hand in hand, dripping with water and joy🩵

A pair of eyes was watching them👀
