The next several days were sort of boring, due to the fact we were riding to the castle, barely stopped for anything. I then heard something peculiar that I have heard many times:

The sound of a Trek going off in a nearby village.

I turned. "STOP!" I shouted. Everyone stopped.

"Whats wrong sis?" Mark asked. I stared at him, eyes widened. "Oh no." he said.

"We need to head there!" I shouted. I started to run towards the place where the Trek was set off. "Oh no! Everyone is dead!" I said.

"Not quite. There is a little boy here, holding a littler girl in his arms." Stewart shouted. We all gathered around them.

We waited for them to open their eyes. After two minutes or so, they opened their eyes suddenly. The boy shouted " MAMA! Where are you!" He looked around the area. He saw a limp body of a female. "NO MAMA NO!" He started to cry. I approached the boy. I patted his back.

"Don't worry." I said. I looked around for something peculiar. And sure enough, I found them. "Fallen. Screw them. Kill them." I ordered. We pulled out our swords and charge at them. The little boy picked up a stray set of kunais and shurikens. And he follows us.

"Whats your name little boy?" I asked him.

"The names Mason. My sis is Macey." He responded. He looked back at her. Since we have nowhere to go home to, can we join all ya' ll?" He asked. I looked at him.

"Sure you can." I responded. I turn to face the armada of Fallen. I then charge at them, Mason close behind. With Macey following him, with some rocks in her hand. 'How cute.' I thought.

So, I decided to leave Mason under Stewart's protection. And put Macey under Michelle's protection. I trust that the retainers will keep them safe.

I then noticed how well that these children could adapt to theis surroundings. I mean, they could observe and react better than most kids their ages could. They could dodge hits that should've hit them.

"These kids aren't your average children." I muttered. I looked at the Fallen. 'They're dwindling.' I thought. That was a good thing. Because it's nearly dusk. I saw that the kids weren't near their respective protectors. "What the heck are they doing? I thought you were supposed to protect them?" I yelled at them.

"Well, I thought that they should try to kill some by themselves." Stewart replied. I stared at him.

"Miranda!" Cyrus approached me from behind, "The kids are trying to take out the big one." I turned. He stopped his horse and patted a spot behind him. "Hop on, we need to get them out of danger."

"Okay, lets go." I blushed as I got on. 'What the heck is wrong with me? Why do I feel this way?' I thought.
I slapped my cheeks to snap my focus in place.

As we approached the big Fallen, I noticed something strange. The Fallen stood on one leg, and his big arms supported the huge mass of his body against a thick Sakura tree, blossoms shriveling due to the lost of happiness due to the Fallen, and his other arm trying to swipe at the kids. His arm was too short to reach to Mason, who was throwing his kunais at the monster. Apparently, he is a natural-born runner. He could run extremely fast and could climb like nobody's buisness. And using those abilities to some good use, had completed cutting through the giant leg.

About an hour later, Mason and Macey had slain their first Fallen by themselves. "God job. Your parents would've been proud of you." I congratulated them.

"I could've saved 'em." Mason replied. He started to cry. I patted his back.

"Don't worry. You're with us. I won't let anything happen to either of you." I reassured him.
