    Hey I was just wondering if you would like two come with me and Addiline two Diagon Alley on the 23ed. I can't wait for are thired year and I'm supper exited two get two Hogwarts. Also I have some news I need to tell you! Also I was wondering if your sister was going this year or next year? Oh and also what did you get on your OWLs? I got six OWLs! Though Clara got seven wich she has been rubbing in sense I got my resolts. Also sorry this is my first time righting two you this summer, my parents wouldn't let me use the house owl two send letters to friends.

As I finished reading my letter from one of my best friends my face broke into a small smile. It was goood to hear from Charlie though I was surprised she didn't ask anything about my summer maybe she was planning to talk about it next week. As I let my mind wonder on what charle wanted to tell me someone out their hands on my shoulders.

"Boo!" Yelled a yong blonde that our mother liked to call my mini me. I spun around and see my little sister laughing and groan. "What?" She said in indignation as I glare at her.

"What? One, you shouldn't be in my room without nocking. Two, you know I don't like it when you do that. Lastly aren't you not even supposed two be home!" I said growing more and more agrivated. My sister smirked. I thought two myself, 'she's only ten years old and is already a smart alik!'

"Rose! Scarlet! Where are you too!" Said
My mother from the other room. Rose looked around.

"We're in Scarlets room mom!" She yelled towards my closed door. Then she added to me in her normal cheerful voice in response to my confusion, "I came home about ten minutes ago and came right in here to scare you. Mom knows I'm home."

I rolled my eyes at Rose as I walked out of my bedroom to see mom in the kitchen waving her wand towards a pile of veggies  as they fly into a water filled pot and I thought to myself, 'magic will never cease to amaze me'.

As I walk over to the dinning room table to set up plates my mother asked me, "hey Scarlet, was that a letter from your friend... Charlie that's her name?" I nodded and she continued "what did she ask?"

"Can I go with her and another friend of mine to Diagon Alley on the 23ed?" I asked flat out.

"Sure sweetie! But make sure you guys are safe understand." Mom said in a cheerful voice.

I jumped up happily filled with the spirit of adventure. "Thanks mom! I'll right her back at once!" Mom looked at me with a stern smile and I added, "we'll be careful I promise." As I finished my sentence I started running back to my bedroom. I was so happy I felt like I could run on water.

I already new that it it was going to be a fun year
