I actually created and entire new species for my Narnia series and Ashara is my proud example of why they're awesome. The Golden Watchers have been tasked by Aslan to guard the Deep Magic and to help the Kings and Queens of Narnia use this magic wisely.

I love Ashara because she embodies this idea to the fullest. She gives her all to protect the Narnians and the Pevensies and she honestly deserves so much praise. It's in her blood to protect and I think that's why she and Peter are so perfect for each other. They're each others rocks and safe haven when they need a break from carrying the burden of fighting for their loved ones. Yeah, I love her.
