Xan's POV

I wake up from the one ray of sunshine peeking through the curtain, I look at my phone and its valentine's day

Gonna have to do something special, I walk put of the room and I head for my office. I wall into the dimly lit room and I sit down at my desk

I grab a pencil and a piece of paper, I want to write a poem for her, and I want to take her somewhere nice

I mind link jake and I tell him to get a reservation for two at a nice restaurant. After thirty minutes of thinking and writing I finally have the perfect poem, now for the perfect card

I get up from my desk and I walk into Lilith's room and I look under her bed, I find a box that has a ton of glitter on it and I pull it out

I open the box and a explosion of glitter and rose petals hit me in the face, this is where Lilith keeps all of her valentines day cards and flowers

I sift through all the glitter and other crap and I find the perfect card, I open it up and the writing is in pen

Dammit

I finally found another good card that I can erase the writing in, I close the box and shove it back under her bed

I walk down the hallway but when I open my office I see Lilith

"Why were you in my room" she says

"I needed a card and I know how you're mate is" I say as I show her the card

"Oh okay" she says as she leaves

I set the card on the desk and I mind link our gardener to grab a white rose

They come up to my office and hand it to me

I write my name in the card then I put the poem in it, I speed run to my room. I open the door a little and I see daemon is still asleep

I quietly walk to the bed and gently place the card and the white rose right in front of her

I walk out of the room and I run downstairs to stat breakfast

Daemon's POV

I wake up to see xan is gone

Where could he be

I hear him coming, pretend you're asleep

I close my eyes and I hear xan quietly walk to the bed and then leave the room

I open my eyes and I see a beautiful light pink card with a big red glittery heart, and there is a white rose at the bottom of it

I sit up and grab the card and open it, a piece of paper falls onto my lap. I pick it up and I read what it says

I get out of bed and I put a robe on over my underwear, i walk out of the room and I start to walk down the hallway but I smell smoke

So I start to run down the hallway, I go down the stairs and I walk into the kitchen to find xan putting out a mint fire

"What happened " I ask

"Oh I burnt one of the pancakes " he says

I smile and he walks over and gives me a kiss on the lips. I sit down at the table as he gives me a stack of pancakes

"I don't know if I can eat this" I say

"It'll be fine" he says

I start at the top and slowly makey way to the bottom, I can eat normal human food but blood is better for us

I when I reach the middle I can't eat anymore

"I'm stuffed" I say as I rub my belly

"I'll finish the rest" he says

It took me ten minutes just to eat to the middle... It took him three

"Holy shit, that was fast" I say

He puts the plate away then he walks over to where I am, then picks me up and puts me on his lap

"Do you have any plans" I ask

"We're supposed to do something later, but I have an idea" he says

Thirty minutes later

"Oh fuck you" I say

We are currently playing Mario kart and I'm losing badly

"Oh come on, you're doing fine" he says

"I'm in last place" I say

"Maybe the next place you'll like" he says as he changes the map

"I have an idea that we'll both lile" I say as I climb onto his lap

I turn the TV off and I turn around so I'm facing him, I start giving him light kisses but I start turning them more passionate. I finally make my way to his lips

I kiss him and I purr as he growls, he licks my bottom lip and I stay shut. He nibbled on it and I open up

We fight for dominance, but he wins. He pulls away and sucks on my neck, he leaves little love bites but doesn't actually mark me

As he was about to go back to kissing me we hear someone eating I look up to find Lilith eating

"Umm why are you eating in the middle of the living room" I ask

"Why are you making out in the middle of the living room " she asks

"The real question is how long have you been there" xan asks

"Long enough " she says as she walks off

"Let's go upstairs " I say as I get off of him

He nods and we walk upstairs to our room, the second the door closes he pounces
