Just like Coin had ordered, the three of them made their way to training to go through a quick test. It was basic things, running through two different coarse's was really all it was. Then they made their way to Tech, where Beetee was waiting for them patiently. First he explained the personal bow and arrow that Katniss had and the different types of arrows that came with it. Then he went through the guns that Quinn and Orion would have. They were shown the different ammunition that they would have with them at all times, a new numbing bullet that wasn't meant to be used to kill anyone. It was meant to shoot someone's leg or somewhere else that would only wound them. Then it would release a chemical that would numb their bodies in minutes so they couldn't get away-- that would work best for getting prisoners if it ever came to that. Then there was a one infused with morphling that would knock someone out within minutes-- and then there were normal ones too.

"Do you know how to load them?" Beetee asked, raising an eyebrow sharply looking at Quinn.

She shook her head honestly, "Not these ones," she stated, "I was kicked out of training before I could learn."

He nodded a bit, "Well, luckily, I simplified these for easier access." he stated, "The red button, on the bottom," he began, Quinn turned her's over and found what he was looking for. "Just press that, and..." he paused as she pressed it, "Then just put in your bullets, then close it. Simple."

"You don't think we'll have to actually use these in Eight, do you?" she asked looking at Beetee, then Katniss, and then Orion.

Beetee shook his head, "The Capitol's basically left Eight to defend themselves. I don't think there will be anyone for you to worry about." he said honestly.

Quinn nodded a bit. Once the three of them were comfortable with everything, they were put back into their outfits, only there wasn't any makeup involved. Effy had Quinn's hair put in a simple ponytail, and Orion's left alone. Katniss had her braid, and compared to the first propo, they looked much better and not nearly as posed. The three of them made their way back to the Command, where President Coin was waiting with Boggs, Otto, and someone Quinn hadn't been expecting to see.

Jules Haymenn.

"Jules?" Orion said, staring at her.

"You seem surprised." she sighed from her seat.

President Coin cleared her throat, "Katniss, you're Sargent is Boggs. Quinn, I thought you'd want Otto to be yours, and Orion, Haymenn will be who you report to when in the field." she said simply, "Each of them have chosen someone else to go with."

Once everything in Command was settled, they were all escorted to a waiting ship. Once on the ship, they met their camera crew; Cressida, Pollux, and Castor. Once everyone was buckled into their seats, Quinn sat on the end of the row of seats, across from Otto, with Cressida on the other side of her.

"Why are you guys doing this?" Quinn asked, "It could get you killed."

Cressida smiled a bit, "If we could make it to Thirteen, I think we can manage." she replied, and after a moment looked Quinn over. "How'd you do it?" she asked, "How'd you keep the secret about the evacuation from the arena?"

"I only knew they wanted to get Katniss," she replied, "I thought I was a goner in the arena."

Cressida sighed, "Everyone did." she stated.

Quinn sighed heavily as their small talk ended, she relaxed in her seat and looked up and down the seats. Gale, Marcus Benson, Jules, Katniss, Otto, Orion, Boggs, Jenson Hughes (a citizen of Thirteen who had been chosen to be with Otto and Quinn), Cressida, Massella, Pollux, and Castor. There were too many people for Quinn to even really feel comfortable with the entire situation. There were too many people to worry about it something went wrong. Quinn unbuckled her seat belt, a red light turning on above her head, but she didn't care. She felt like the hovercraft was getting smaller, like it was closing around her. She leaned forward covering her face with her hands. She could feel her entire body get hot, and her hands started to get shaky. The thought of something going wrong, and to have this many people all there-- like one giant target...

"Quinn?" Otto asked from across from her. But his voice sounded like it had to fight through cotton just to get to her eardrums. "Quinn," he stated again, and finally she leaned back in her seat, rubbing her hands on her legs. "It's going to be fine."

She looked at him, and then glanced around, and saw that almost everyone else was watching her carefully too. So slowly, she nodded and slowly pulled the buckle back around her. Everyone sat in silence the rest of the way, and waited patiently for the ship to drop them off in Eight before going back up. Before it began to lower it self toward the ground, Boggs gave everyone a simple run down of the plan-- they'd be getting dropped off just outside a makeshift hospital and they'd be seeing survivors.

As soon as they were given the okay to unbuckle, Quinn quickly unbuckled and stood up. She was just eager to get out of the hovercraft-- to get away from being so close to everyone. Then as the ramp lowered itself, the sound of the engines were deafening. And they all quickly filed out of the ship.

They stood in a opening, and Quinn felt her stomach drop when she saw what surrounded them. It looked like it had been the area of warehouses in Eight, some were half caved in, some were still up just was sections that had broke apart from the rest because of the ground shaking. There was still smoke billowing out of a few buildings on the other side of ones that still were standing for the most part.

"Welcome to District Eight," Quinn turned around and looked past Boggs to see a dark skinned woman jogging towards them, with a gun across her back. "Commander Paylor." she said introducing herself as she looked at the faces of the visitors, and her eyes landed on Katniss, then she looked at Quinn, "You're alive, both of you." she said, a bit shocked.

"We're here to see your wounded and the damage." Boggs said, quickly getting them all on topic.

She gave a curt nod and turned, "This way," she sighed, "It's not much, but it was the only warehouse we could use." she said as they jogged a little way down the street and around a corner and through a door of a warehouse that was much bigger than the one that Quinn had lived in for so long.
