"They must have seen us coming," Gale stated as that part of the group was crouched down in some brush, leaning against a tree. The group hadn't been too big, other than Quinn and Gale, there was Boggs, Cressida and Polux, and Jules. They had gotten dropped off just outside the district by the lake. They had gotten into the District without a problem, and they had gotten to Colemans small house easily too.

Cressida took her small camera to get a close up of the living space to most of the people in District Four. And to introduce Coleman. After that Jules and Cressida took him to the pick up point for the ship. That left Boggs, Gale, Quinn, and Pollux to go get Isabella and her family. Coleman had told them where they'd be found, and they had gotten the house with no trouble. Isabella lived with her older sister and mother, and Boggs took over explaining what was going on-- and giving them the option to go with them. Isabella was eager to go, and her sister was too. But her mother took some convincing.

However, once they were all in agreement, and Boggs explained how they'd be getting to the pick up point, they all hurried from the house. Weaving between buildings, cutting through the old warehouse that Quinn knew weren't even in use or just for storage. It wasn't until they hit the fences that they found out that there had been two Capitol hovercrafts docked just outside Four. As soon as they were told that a hovercraft was going towards them, they took cover. Two Capitol crafts against one rebel hovercraft wasn't a good match.

"Now what are we supposed to do?" Isabella's mother asked, her voice was practically a whisper.

Boggs looked the group over, examining them each for a second. "We wait them out-"

"We can't." Quinn retorted, "We can't sit here like waiting ducks."

Boggs frowned, "We don't really have a better choice." he confessed, "The hovercraft waiting for us went into hiding on the other side of the lake than originally planned." he explained simply, "If we wait for them to do their first circle around, we could get further into the trees and get into a better position and closer to the ship." he said, and he must have noticed the look of disgust that fell onto Quinn's face because he stopped her from saying anything. "It's the best shot we've got right now, Quinn."

The command room was practically silent. Coin sat in her seat, her face buried in her hands, Havensbee sat across from Gale-- shocked and horrified at what had happened. Katniss sat completely still, shocked as she looked at the rest of the team waiting for them to continue. But really the only person who had any affect on him was Orion. He looked angry and horrified as he looked from Gale to Coin.

"You let the hovercraft leave without her?!" Orion asked sharply, glaring at Boggs. Boggs had been given the responsibility to make sure Quinn got back to the compound. "Do you have any idea what the Capitol will do to her?!"

Coin straightened up in her seat, and let out a long sigh. "Orion, what's done is done." she frowned.

Orion's eyes stared at Coin. Shocked.

"We can't just put things on hold. She's in the Capitol, and we don't have the power to go in there yet-"

"Yet?" he echoed, "By the time we do, all of the Victors will be dead."

Katniss cringed at thought of that. But Coin seemed unaffected by it and simply turned her attention back to the team.

"What happened when she got separated?"

The ground seemed to shake every time one of the gas bombs hit the ground. It was like fog was suddenly surrounding them. It wasn't poisonous, or at least it didn't seem to be. It just seemed to be a way to distract them, to separate them as it got thicker and thicker. Gale could barely even see Quinn it was so thick, and she wasn't that far from him. Maybe eight feet at the most, with Isabella's sister between them. It wasn't until one of the bombs hit the ground with so much force that it made their knees lock, and the entire group fell to the ground-- the sound of the armor clattering against itself made it obvious that Boggs and Pollux were close behind them with Isabella and her mom. Quinn was the first one to her feet, and she helped the older sister to her feet, and watched to make sure that Gale got to his feet too before turning and running ahead.

"And you let that happen!?" Orion asked, crossing his arms and glaring at Gale.

"Another outburst like that, and you'll have to leave, Orion." Coin stated.

Coin took a moment, looking around the command room. But before she could say another word, Orion was on his feet to leave.

"This is pathetic," he frowned, "You have no idea what your doing, and you've lost two people already. Great propos." he said, looking at Coin and his ton dripping with sarcasm at the end. "When you get your head out of your ass and actually have a plan, you know where my compartment is."

Orion was right, there was no plan anymore. What they thought would work, wasn't working.
