Hi guys! So, first of all, this note is a bit late, because I was supposed to publish it back in April but I barely submitted the story itself on time xD But it's good I didn't! So... A very not good and not bad situation LOL.

I'm surprised that this novella actually went as far as the longlist! I wasn't even sure that I would pass Round 1, and this is my first year participating, so I consider this an accomplishment!

I'm quite proud of this work! Sure there are things that need tweaking, especially after chapter 12 that remain unedited as of now, but my first action book and the amount of comments praising my writing have made my days and further motivate me to write! It's the first time people have made references to my favorite movies like the Matrix, Kill Bill, and Assassin's Creed.

And has made me understand that I have definitely improved as a writer since I first started, er, returned to writing 10 months ago.

Holy crap, I have been on Wattpad for 10 whole months. It feels like just yesterday I published my first story and it literally got torn apart because of how shitty it was. I actually lost all motivation or want to write at the time, but I'm glad I focused on getting better instead of simply giving up.

I definitely have a lot to improve, but all of that will come in the novel version of Lethal Encounter.

I honestly do not know when, but I hope by the beginning of next year, 2025, that I will publish the novel, which will not only be an expansion, but also a complete rewrite. From additional characters and different scenes and ending to the resurrection of a certain character, it will be an almost entirely new book.

But don't worry, Jennie will remain the sassy beam of sunshine and Ava the protective, grumpy simp xD
