So, yesterday(cuz Watty was a butt and wouldn't publish this yesterday) was my first DnD club meeting, and it was fun.

We started off in a tavern, where a drunken brawl was going on.

Me and one other sat it out in a corner, and the others got knocked out in various ways, some in the brawl, one by slipping and hitting the counter, one by drinking himself into a stupor, and me being knocked out by a drunken man from behind.

When our party woke up, there was a man, Odin (the DM's character's nickname) who explained what was going on (basically telling us our quest) and we christened the bad guy (who's been cursed with immortality when he found the portal to hell) Gunmar (after the main baddie from Troll Hunters)

Anyways, after the plot of our quest was basically explained, we visited the shop for more information about this Gunmar guy, and EVERYTHING went downhill from there.

It started out fine, we got some information, bought a few things.

Then, someone knocked the shopkeeper out to steal the gold in the register, someone summoned a pony, I tried to heal the shopkeeper so we wouldn't have a bounty on our heads, it failed, Adam(one of the dudes playing) received blindness as a result of a debuff for swearing (we have a no swear policy) and still managed to climb on the roof to escape the incoming guards due to a lucky roll.

In the end, all but me and one other member of our party (who had stolen all the shop's beer and drunk himself dead drunk again 🙄) were left in the shop. I got lucky with a roll and managed to talk our way outta going to prison, and then our time was up.

So, basically, it was quite an... Eventful first session. I'm so excited for next week's meeting!
