Your probably wondering why I have bags under my eyes. Or maybe your not... But I'll tell you anyway. See I have insomnia, meaning it's harder for me to get to sleep then others so I stay up a lot at night. However no one knows not even my family, which is how I would like to keep it. The only reason I myself know is that Madame Pomfroy (sp?) told me in private.

The only reason I don't want others to know is I just don't want people to treat or think of me differently. I know it's dumb but I'm kind of embarrassed by it sometimes. But very rarely.

Anyway, today I decided to sit by the Black Lake, studying for my O.W.L s. ''Your actually studying for once?'' Asked Lily raising her eyebrows. I had been secretly studying for weeks because I thought it would be weird. Damn I forgot. ''Umm... No... I'm er... Thinking up... Schemes?'' I replied awkwardly. ''Thinking up schemes? What kind of schemes? The scheme where you actually do well in your studies?'' She asks with fake interest. ''No... The scheme of... Making people think... I'm... A nerd?'' I reply. Lily just raises her eyebrows. ''Sure... That's why you have all these notes.'' She replies sarcastically.  Great I have myself in a right pickle...

''I heard you were studying. Is it true?'' Says Remus coming up to me with James, Sirius and Peter. All four waiting eagerly for a response. ''No!'' I yell defensively. Prof. McGonagall looks over ''Detention Rose Evans!'' She shouts to me. ''But-'' I start. ''No excuses 8:00 today my office.'' She interrupts. I just grumble under my breath.
