I woke up to a heavy blizzard, I shook the stray snowflakes from my pelt and stood. My sister was still asleep, I peered into the snow to try to see anything but the blizzard blocked my view.
"May it's no use trying to go out," April said from where she was laying down, I growled. We had lost our father the day before, I was still very sad. April came and sat at my side, she put her muzzle on my shoulder.
"We will be fine I will protect us," April said, I sighed.
"Your right we will be fine," I said, I went further into the den.

A few hours later.

We had waited out the blizzard, the snow had stopped. I slowly padded out into the white wasteland, April followed. A howl sounded from the distance, the howl was not familiar so we stayed quiet. We started back towards our home, we got there to find no bodies not even a footprint. I snarled as a grey male wolf stepped out of the bushes, he came up to us as if we were part of his pack. I snapped at him a few times, he ended up making both of us obey him. His pack came out of the bushes, I snarled at them but got a swift nip in return from the alpha.
"What are two females like you doing away from a pack?" The alpha asked.
"Our pack was killed," I growled.
"That's sad but now you belong to me got it," he said showing his teeth.
"Got it," I growled, he nudged us away from our home. We traveled over a mountain and into a strange new territory, I knew that in spring he would try to mate with us. I knew we had to escape before that happened, I nuzzled Aprils shoulder and she came closer.
"We have to escape," I whispered low enough to not get heard.
"We do and I know the perfect way," April said, we soon arrived at the new den site. The alpha growled at us to go closer, we stalked forwards into the strange place. I saw blood covering certain walls, bones scattered everywhere. I yelped as a sharp teeth bit the back of my neck, I found myself across the cave. My sister was whining on the opposite side, the alpha stalked over.
"It's time to teach these two a lesson if they try to escape they will learn it again," he said, he dug his teeth deep into the back of my neck. I yelped as I felt blood run down my cheek, he slammed me against a wall. He then slammed me down on the ground and held me there, I yelped and yelped. I was forced to watch the same thing happen to my sister, I knew we had to escape no matter how long it took us.
