I poked my head out of the trees to find an open valley, I also noticed a farm up ahead with a few sheep. My stomach growled with hunger, I noticed so was my sisters.
"Let's go get ourselves a meal," I said, we stalked closer and noticed the place was run down and looked abandoned.
"Sis we might be going into a trap," April said.
"I will go scout ahead to make sure it's safe," I said, I stalked around the flock of sheep and towards the broken building. I pushed open the creaky door, I heard voices inside.
"What if other packs try to steal our food," growled a voice.
"Yeah we have to defend it sooner or later," another said.
"Well tough we have to move before winter or the packs will surly kill us and take our food," growl what I thought to be the leader, I accidentally pushed the door too far and it flew open.
"Hey guys looks like we have a thief," growled a jet black female, I started backing away.
"She might be a rouge," the leader said, I looked back towards my sister and she ran over.
"You sure," the female growled again.
"Heather shut it," the leader male said.
"M-me and my sister are loners since hunters killed our pack," I said, the lead male showed sympathy.
"If you want you can join us, we have plenty of food to go around," he said, I nodded.
"Oh excuse us my name is May and this is my sister April," I said.
"My name is Duke, this is Heather, this is Leo and this is Mia," the lead male said pointing to the black female then the white male then the grey female, I nodded.
"It's nice to meet you all," I said.
"Please come in and rest," Duke said moving aside, me and April padded in nervously.
"I can't thank you enough," I said, I looked around the open broken space.
"It's my pleasure," Duke said.
"Oh come on Duke you can't think of letting wolves into our small pack," Heather said, I looked at her. Only now did I notice all of them were dogs, Duke was a German Shepard, Heather was a husky, Leo was a white Labrador and Mia was a Wolf mixed with a dog. It felt odd to be the only wolf besides my sister, I layed down on a patch of overgrown moss. I yawned, May layed down beside me.
"Let's give these two some space to sleep," Duke said, they left to go to a different room. I put my head down and let sleep come, slowly sleep came over me.
