Imagine not just this world,

Not just this universe,

But countless ones,

Filled with caring beings

Whose wisdom

Shines so many lights,

Such great insights,

Greater than the best of

Yours or mine.

What hubris to insist

That we alone have gifts,

That we alone might conjure right

Give form to light!

Believe us what we dare.

But let's not call profound

A faith that can't be shared

By loving beings anywhere.

Imagine what such

Faith must be:

Abiding love for that internal,

Yet eternal flame,

Acessible to all,

Yet by none named.

Gazing deep within my core,

I feel my heart.

I feel its words.

I hear it call:

"Reason tells you what is true

But having sated Him,

Look deeper yet within.

He shields you from

The worst of lies,

But, once protected,

Put that god aside,

Ignore His loud

Commandments from above.

And instead choose Love."

"The heart is not profound,"

Lord Reason sniffs

The Light of Conscience answers this:

"Thought or Love alone precede the fall.

What's without, what's inside,

One's not the greatest, the other less,

Mind and Heart, make peace!

Ride to the glory

Known to all who

Take them both as guides!

And find life blessed."

In the world what's plain as this?

At any time, in any place,

We heed the Light of Conscience

Or an unobstructed view

Of Heaven miss.

The End
