The boy curled his lip at the scrap of ragged paper in his hand. "This? This is what could destroy us?" A gravelly voice came from the other side of the room. "YES, BOY. GO DO YOUR JOB. WREAK HAVOC. KIDNAPP GIRLS. THIS TIME WE WILL SUCCEED." The last part came out almost as a threat. The boy gulped, then nodded. One of his hands moved subconsciously to his back, right above the shoulder blade. 

"Yes sir." Then he walked out of the room, making sure his master didn't see the scowl on his face. "Go do my dirty work Shadow. Oooooh Shadow go end the world. But of we fail, it's yoooouurrrrr fault." He glanced agin at the paper in his hand. "After all, what can some mortal girl do to our plans?"
