"Honey, come here", my mother calls, sitting on her throne. I trudge over to her, feeling the cold wind on my back. Of course I do, my dress today is a forest green lace ball gown with no sleeves and an open back, one of mothers old ones.

"Yes?" I ask, bowing.

"I was thinking, it is almost time for you to be crowned Queen. I thought that maybe you could have your coronation this weekend." I stand, probably looking ridiculous. She laughs, meaning my thoughts were accurate.

"Are- are you sure?, I mean you always said you loved being Queen and that you nev-" She raises her eyebrows, and I realized I was rambling.

"Yes honey, I'm sure. You've grown into such a beautiful young woman, and I believe it is your time." There's a knock on the door and it opens. There stands the Unseelie King, Kieran, the one who sent me the white dress I received this morning.

"Your Majesty" I say, bowing again. As I stand, I look up at him, his black and silver eyes gleaming with what looks like mischief. He bows back, surprising me.

"Have you tried on your dress yet? I made it especially for your coronation" It appears as though I am the only person who didn't know about this coronation idea.

"Um, no. I had to get dressed speedily this morning, I woke up a bit late." I tell him, blushing.

"Well I would like to talk to you about it. If, of course, you don't mind." He looks at my mother, and she nods stiffly, and I can tell she doesn't like his idea. He puts his arm out beckoning me to join him for a walk. I loop mine through his and he leads me into the hallway.

Kieran has no plan as he leads Maeve through the Seelie Courts endless hallways.

"May I ask how you are doing?" Maeve asks, dragging me from my thoughts.

"I am doing great, thank you for asking. How are you doing?"

"Just a little stressed, I don't really like this coronation plan, I mean it was kind of sudden, and I just don't know what to think." I look at her hair, it looks so similar to mine when I'm happy, which means it is the same color right now. I realize I'm staring and look away, feeling embarrassed.

"What's the matter, did I do something wrong?" Maeve asks.

"Oh, no you didn't, I was just marveling at your hair, it is the same color as mine." I tell her, wishing I could tell her the truth. She looks startled, like she didn't notice until now.

"I suppose that is true. What did you want to talk about?" She brings me to a bench, and I am thankful she knows her way around here

"Oh, just the dress I gave you. I had it tailored right to your fitting, and made it out of pure clouds"
