Spell's P.O.V
Pixel, Lace, and myself had been walking for a little bit now, but still haven't seemed to find the bakery. I shot the pair a confused glance as I began to get a whiff of a smell that smelt like pine and fresh baked bread. Lace seemed to have a guess on what was going on, as I watched her spread her charcoal black wings and lift off the ground. Pixel had seemed to go quite which was strange because she wouldn't stop chatting as we walked up here. It almost seemed like the entire town had dropped into eerie silence. Even more confused I tried to get an explanation out of Pixel, but she didn't even make eye contact with me.

"Is something going on?" I asked breaking the silence. Pixel didn't even respond at my question, but as I asked it I spotted Laceflying back. She landed on the stone pavement with a soft thud before folding her wings back up against her body. Taking a deep breathe of air she spoke.

"The forest grew again it overtook the bakery and a few homes. I couldn't spot Sour Dough or any of the other ponies that lived there. The forest hasn't ever grown this fast!" Lace said trying to keep cool. I shot them a confused glance, but I knew I wouldn't get any answers from them. Heaving a heavy sigh I decided it would be best to leave them. I gave them "see you later"s before heading back to my family's home.
