Early morning all of us went to the colosseum. Percy was already there, along with Gaea, Tartarus and Kronos. The Stolls were near the bell to ring it. I saw Annabeth also sitting in one of the highest seat. Everyone was grave. Even Chaos and the gods were there. After 1 more minute, the hammer struck the bell, making the start of the battle.

Percy took out his sword Riptide and clanged it against Kronos. Then to stop Gaea and Tartarus, he made a water barrier to prevent them from coming in. Then he with the hilt of his sword hit Kronos' scythe, which went flying out. Kronos was disarmed. But Kronos slowed down the time around him. And went to attack Percy. But Percy being a Lord of time too, fastened the time around him, really high. Then all we saw was blurs of the battle. Black from Percy and Blue from Kronos. Blood spilled occasionally. After 1 minute like that, Gaea and Tartarus broke down the barrier, and charged Percy. Percy controlled the soil around him, and changed Kronos into a mud statue. Then Percy pierced his sword through the statue, as Kronos went straight to Tartarus. Our side rejoiced at the death of one enemy. 

But it was not for long, as Tartarus had successfully managed to stab Percy in the back. While Gaea from the front. Percy whelped and platinic colored blood poured from his body. Then Percy hit the ground with a soft thud, as we watched in slow motion. But even his his last moment, he threw his sword straight towards Gaea's no-heart. And the sword found its mark. Tartarus was the only one standing. 

All of us started crying. Tartarus rejoiced and shouted "THE HERO OF OLYMPUS IS DEAD. NOW WHAT WILL YOU A-AHHHH AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

The last part was because the platinic blood from Percy had wrapped itself around Tartarus and had started poisoning him. After two minutes of shock, Tartarus had also fallen to the ground lying dead. I could feel all their souls going back to Tartarus, but something was not right. Percy's soul was not leaving. Everyone from the seats rushed down towards Percy's not-so-much-dead body. I touched his wrist, but there was no pulses. That meant he died. But Percy's soul was still there. Then Chaos spoke.

"PERSEUS JACKSON HAS NOT DIED. I MEAN HE DID DIE, BUT HIS SOUL IS STILL STUCK IN HIM BECAUSE OF AN EXISTING OATH HE TOOK. FOR THOSE WHO DID NOT KNOW, PERCY PAID THE PRICE OF HIS LOVE FOR ANNABETH, TO SAVE HER. IT WAS BECAUSE PERCY'S LOVE FOR ANNABETH WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO SAVE ONE PERSON. BUT, I DID NOT KNOW, THAT IT WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO SAVE MORE THAN ONE PERSON. ONLY IF PERCY CAN SOMEHOW BREAK THAT OATH, BOTH HE AND ANNABETH CAN LIVE FREELY." He announced.

"But how the hell will we wake up now?" Thalia asked.

"Nico and Hades, please do your work." Chaos said. I immediately understood what we had to do. My dad nodded to me. Together we brought back Percy's ghost. Then Chaos nodded to Percy's ghost who was really angry.

"Can't a person even die in peace. Why the hell do you want me back now?" That was his first question.

"Umm, you see, we don't have more than 10 minutes, Lord Chaos. Whatever you have to do, please do it quickly." Hades said sadly.

"Please, other than Percy's closest friends, can everyone leave the colosseum." Chaos said. Immediately almost everyone other than me, Chaos, a completely broken down Annabeth, a crying Jason, Piper who was also crying in the arms of Jason, Leo who was just sitting beside Percy's half-dead body, Grover who was playing a sad hymn, Thalia, who was only looking at Ghost Percy curiously and the other commanders were there in the colosseum. 

"Percy, the fates and time have agreed that you have paid the price for Annabeth's life. You can complete your oath now, which will bring back you to your former self and you can be free with her." Chaos said.

Percy's expression somewhat changed. He looked at Annabeth, and Annabeth at him. Then Percy said "Annabeth, I accept that I can't live without you. I have once again fallen in love with you. The only thing in the universe which I cannot control is my love for you. I l-l-love you, Annabeth." Annabeth was just staring at Percy's eyes. Then she said "I love you too, Percy. Now please come back to life." Percy bowed to Annabeth and disappeared. Everyone was muttering words, other than Chaos and Annabeth who was looking at Percy's half lifeless body. Immediately I felt Percy's pulses. But he was heavily wounded. 

 Percy opened his eyes. Then, he and Annabeth kissed each other. Chaos just nodded at us, and we left the two of them in the colosseum to let them enjoy their moments. But in our hearts, we were really really happy. Percy had come back to life.
