Joker POV

I took the food from the person who gave me the food, but for some reason, the door had a silver key dangling on the door knob.  I took the shining key and closed the door just in case. I took the tray and swiftly walked to the dinning room to see Spade there. 

"Is that a key?" He asked. I nodded. 
"Someone left it on the doorknob." I said as I showed the keys to him. We both took time to analyze the key. It looked a little... odd

"Was someone there?" Spade asked. I tried to remember but I didn't notice someone there. We spent the rest of the day looking out if someone was coming back to get the key back. But no one did. 

It was getting late so we got ready for bed, except, I noticed a white envelope on the counter. I took the note with me to bed and immediately showed it to Spade. I read the note aloud.

Dear Kaitou's...

I don't think you'd remember anything about your past, present or what happened to you. But, A Kaitou is someone who steals things, not like a robber, but he or she gives out advance notices. And that is who you were. Kaitou Joker, number one Phantom Thief. Kaitou Spade,  the number two Phantom Thief. You both are also known as Jack Jones and King. You also have friends, I would say. But I have not much time to mention them to you. Tomorrow, you must escape. Before he gets you. I left the key with you both. Take everything you need from the place you are staying at. Good luck.

P.S => I left your Kaitou suits in the second drawer of the kitchen. Near the back door. Wear it, so your friends could recognize you.

Spade gave a smile over my shoulder. Yes. We are finally getting out of here. But... This place is so peaceful... Why do we have to leave tomorrow exactly?

Queen POV

I knew it was wrong to lie to them. To lie to them that I know where they went. That I know who is behind this. Yet... I cannot tell anyone, for the rest of our friends lives are in danger. At least they are safe. At least... They are together with each other. That's when it clicked. I know why HE is doing this...
