3rd Person POV

As Shadow swiftly tossed his umbrella to blast the robots, Phoenix was busy exploring the so called tiny doors. But Lupin, and the whole world, refers to it as vents. Lupin took out a crumpled paper and began redirecting the group. The three boys stayed in silent, fear of getting caught by someone or something in the vents.

A familiar meow caught Shadow's attention, and immediately acted fast. He shoved Lupin and Phoenix to the side as he aims his umbrella at the cat.

"My, My. You've grown. Shadow," Lady Doubt said with a smirk.

Back with the duo, Joker and Spade just finished off the last of the guards in the whole campus. Joker smiled as he tilted his hat. "Nice moves, Spade." He said. Spade sighed. "Let's flirt later. Now we need to carry on to the next step of our plan." He said. "I don't think your going anywhere." Dr. Neo said, holding a large some-what gun in his hand. Joker smirked at the doctor. "Well, isn't it Dr. Wig," He stated.

Lupin finally found the opening in the vents, that leads to the holding place of the gem. Phoenix, being impatient, immediately swooped down from the vents. Followed by Lupin. Shadow on the other hand decided to bloody rain a couple more robots in the vents before he jumped down. The trio made their way, quickly as ever when they reached an intersection. "This is where my stop is." Phoenix said, transforming. "Good luck out there, and meet us inside." Shadow said. The bird giggled. "It's fire. I can manage," He said as he flew the other side.

"Are you sure he will be okay? He is new to the Phantom Thief things," Lupin said as he and Shadow started to run towards a long set of stairs. "He will be fine." Shadow said.

"AHHHHHHHH!" Phoenix yelped as some robots began shooting from water guns. "I am not okay!" He said. At that instant, he remembered what Shadow said to him the week before. 

'Being afraid of something, or someone is normal. But, we have to conquer it to protect the ones we care about,' Shadow said. 'Like what you did for Rose?' The feathered bird asked. 'Yes. I was.. Indeed afraid. Like what if me and Joker weren't able to come up with a plan, fast enough to save her?' he said. Phoenix smiled. 'Well, the fact is you tried and it worked.' He said. 'Yah. It did.'

In that instance, Phoenix smiled. He flew up and untransformed himself. He took out a makeshift sword, out of his arrows and smiled. "Come and get me, water robots!"

Joker and Spade were toasted. Not the bread. But might be toasted with the flame thrower in Dr. Neo's hands. The mad scientist began to laugh. "I finally got you now!" He said. Joker looked around, looking for a miracle. But there was nothing. Spade and Joker had no ammo on them, no more tricks. 

As Joker was about to look down in defeat, something caught his eye in the ceiling and smiled.

"Then shoot me." he said
