All Mahani, unlike pack wolves, have a ceremony to accept the new mate, whether it's fated or choice.

The ceremony is held on the next full moon and happens when the moon rises just over the horizon, no matter the time of day.

Depending on the rank of the Mahani depends on what new powers the mate receives. These powers are listed in the chapter labeled Mahani Powers.

After the two wolves declare their love in verse, they are moved to an open field where the Mahani Blood Alpha will transfer powers to the new mate or between mates if both are Mahani. This is typically done with flair, using the Elementals to provide a show for the guests.
