Thoughts

Levy was tired, exhausted really. Then even that didn't seem like an appropriate word. There was only an hour left on their flight and she was ready to be done seven hours ago. With everything that had happened in the past couple of days, she was unbelievably stressed, though she knew everyone else was too. She glanced at Gajeel beside her, who had just woken up from his nap. She had constantly checked on him, just to make sure there was no side affects of that horrible goo. Levy had been scared witless when they dragged him onto the plane and he wasn't breathing. She was ready to charge off the plane and find the user herself.

Beside her Wendy shuddered, ever so slightly. She wouldn't have noticed if the girl wasn't leaning against her shoulder. She gently moved some short strands out of her face, the pixie slowly becoming a bob. "You alright?" she asked quietly.

Wendy forced a smile, "Um, yeah. I'm ok."

Levy pursed her lips, not buying it for a second. "You sure?"

This time Wendy glanced at Gajeel, simply nodding slightly.

Do you want to go talk in the back?

After a moment Wendy nodded and the pair stood up. Levy took Wendys hand and moved around Gajeel, who gave them a questioning frown. He moved to get up but Levy shook her head, pat his shoulder, then lead Wendy into the bedroom in the back of the plane.

Levy shut the door as Wendy sat on the bed, giving a tired sigh.

Levy made her way over to the bed and sat beside her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "What's on your mind Wen?"

Wendy was quiet for a moment, perhaps gathering her thoughts, and Levy waited patiently. Finally Wendy took a shakey breath, "It's just. Everything thats happened has been so overwhelming, and it seems like it will never end." Her eyes began to tear up, but she wasn't finished, so Levy stayed quiet. "The people at Gajeels house, what happened at Lucys," she touched the bandage on her neck. "What happened to Gajeel just getting on the plane! I... I'm trying to be brave, I'm trying to keep my head up so Gajeel and Natsu wont have to worry about me. But... I'm just so scared..."

Wendys shoulders shook as her tears started to leak over but she tried to bite back her sobs. Levy moved and knelt down in front of her, gently taking her hands. "Hey, listen to me. I know you're scared. But you know what? I am too. Yes I know you can probably hear it in everyone's head," she reached up to gently wipe Wendys cheeks. "And that probably isn't helping your own fear. You're just a kid Wendy, it's perfectly normal to be afraid. Even for someone as old as Erza, it's ok to be afraid."

Wendy sniffed and wiped her eyes with her shaky hands, "I just... I just want to see my mom..."

"Oh Wendy," Levy moved back onto the bed and pulled Wendy into her lap, letting the girl bury her face in her shoulder as she gently rubbed her back. "You'll see her soon. You know what? I want to see my mom too. After all of this I just want her to hug me. Nothing feels safer and warmer than a mom hug, huh?"

Wendy nodded against her shoulder with a tiny sniff and Levy smiled gently.

The pair sat like that until they felt the plane land. Wendy crawled off of her lap and wiped her eyes, "Thank you Levy."

"Anytime Wen."

They went out into the cabin, where Gajeel and Natsu looked worriedly at Wendy, who promptly puffed out her cheeks at them. Cana laughed and pulled Wendy into a tight side hug. Out on the strip they were greeted by several cars in various colors, as well as their usual black SUV and a man who was the spitting younger image of Gildarts.

"Welcome back everyone. I'm Marco, Cana's oldest brother. Our mother wanted us to meet you and escort you back to the villa. Everyone's families are anxious to see you, so lets not keep them waiting."

After confirming from Cana that it was in fact her brother, everyone piled into the black SUV, and the colorful line of cars followed. Out on the highways the cars blended in, so as not to make it obvious they were following.

As they pulled up to the villa, everyone's faces were practically smooshed against the windows to try and see the group of parents who stood in front of the villa. The car had barely stopped as a small tan woman stomped up to the car. She was curvy, her hair a beautiful chestnut brown that curled down to her shoulders, and very familiar onyx eyes. She had all but flung the door open and pulled Natsu out, who was sitting next to the door.

"You had us scared to death!" she nearly yelled, a thick Hawaiian accent as she hugged him tightly.

Natsu laughed breathlessly before hugging the woman back, picking her up and swinging her around. "I missed you too mom."

When he finally set her down she stepped back, just enough to see his dirty torn shirt. "What happened?!"

"Well uh, we sorta kinda... Got in a fight,"

"A fight!"

"Alana my love, why don't you let the other kids out of the car before you harass the boy anymore?" The man said as he wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her aside slightly. He was tall, had shoulder length cherry pink hair, much like Natsu, and he was just as tan.

As soon as Wendy was out of the car she bolted for the villa, where a woman rushed out to meet her. She had long navy blue hair and kind brown eyes, eyes that watered as she looked at her daughter. She immediately scooped her up, holding her close as Wendy started to cry again.

When Levy saw who was next on the porch, she all but ran herself. She nearly knocked the woman over as she hugged her, releasing a shaky breath she hadn't realized she had been holding. She was the spitting image of her mother, whose long blue hair was touched at the edge with gray.

"You've got a lot to tell us about dove." The gruff voice said beside her and she smiled, turning to look at her father. He stood proud and tall, and he would forever deny his gray eyes were misty. His short black hair was sticking up in places, he hadn't brushed it after he woke up. And even with only one leg and a pair of crutches, he could still be a menacing man if he wanted to be. Although he was mostly all bark.

"Yes papa," she released her mother to hug her father, who crushed her to him and took a deep breath.

After a long moment they released, though she looped her arm back around her mother and turned to look at the others. They were all making their way back to the covered entryway, she finally saw Juvias parents. Her mother was a tall leggy woman, who kept her ocean blue hair pulled into a tight pony tail and seemed to have a stern look in her emerald eyes. Though by the way she smiled softly at her daughter and held her husbands hand, she was anything but. Her husband similar ocean blue hair, though darker, and shared the same blue eyes as his daughter.

The large group made their way inside the villa and made themselves at home in the large living area. There was a beat of awkward silence before Levy got up, "I'm sure all of the parents have introduced themselves to each other, but why not again for everyone else? I'm Levy McGarden, these are my parents Rasha and Ramal McGarden. My mother is the top doctor in Kochi, and my father is a retired veteran."

Levy waited and when Natsu stood, she sat back between her parents.

"I'm Natsu, and these are my parents Alana and Igneel Dragneel. My mom teaches hula and my dad is a professional surfer."

Metalicana snorted, "You went to buisness school, and tossed it to play in the damn water?"

Igneel grinned as he tossed an arm around his wife, "You're just jealous of my mad skills."

"Alright kids, not right now." Regin said, aiming a "gentle" slap to Metalcanas side that cause him to lose his breath.

"My name is Wendy Marvel, and this is my mother Grandine, she owns her own clinic and has some of the best doctors in China there." Wendy was nervous, and so quiet everyone barely heard her. Grandine pulled her back down next to her, as if she couldn't bare for her to be out of her sight.

"I am Juvia. These are my parents Celine and Jean-Paul, though he would rather be called just Jean. My father is a painter, and my mother is a chief with her own restaurant."

Gajeel got up, only after Regin nudged him "I'm Gajeel, these are my parents Regin and Metalicana. My mom is in the special forces and dad is working in oil."

"Hi, I'm Lucy Heartfillia, and this is my sister Michelle."

"Where are your parents dear?" Alana asked.

Lucy gave her a small smile, "They passed away awhile ago ma'am."

"Oh I'm sorry sweetheart. Well, there's plenty of this mom to go around!" Alana was already up and pulled both girls into a tight hug. Both almost instantly teared up and returned the hug. Alana abandoned Natsu to sit between them, keeping an arm around both of them.

"Guess that leaves me," Cana said as she stood. "I'm Cana Alberona. I know you've all met my family, my parents Gildart and Cornelia. As well as the numerous boys running around." There was a small chuckle from the parents.

"Has everyone been introduced?" Lily asked as he made his way into the room, Jellal and Erza on his tail.

"Good. Because I think it's time we filled you in."

{This got away from me and I'm sorry it's so long. But I had fun with the parents. And I'm a weak piece of trash for Wendy and Levy bonding. Let me know what yall think, we are getting so close to the fun stuff!}
