Ugh. It's packing day today. We are moving to Washington cause mother and father both got promoted there. I don't want to leave my friends, memories, and family behind . I'm gonna miss them...

"Honey! It's time to go!" said mom. I don't wanna leave. "Coming!" I grabbed my suitcase, jacket, and a box filled with books and pictures. I ran downstairs, tumbled down due to my box of books. "Ow..." As I rubbed my head. My mom peeked her head in the house and said "Hurry up! We got to go!" And went back to the car, stuffing it with other suitcases. Wow. Thanks for caring about me...

As I stuff my stuff in the trunk of the car, I quickly hop in and buckle up. As we drive out of the driveway, I wave to the house that I had my 1st though 15th birthday, I wave to my memories.

After a quite of few hours, we stopped at a rest stop to use the bathroom. Ughhhhh just a few more hours. I went to the bathroom, and waited outside on the bench. They came out of the car and they said they were going on a quick walk. I just layed on the bench, and soon I fell asleep.

Poke. Uuggghhhhhh. Poke Poke. "Stoooop" Poke. Sniff. Sniff? Lick lick. "AH" I fell off the bench and when I opened my eyes, a saw a little yorkie, licking my face. "Aww, your so cute!" I let him sniff my hand and he licked it. I sat back on the bench, then he sat in my lap. I pet his slky soft fur. I wanted to find his owner so I looked at his collar. Shock flooded my eyes.

The tag said "Unwanted, please keep if wanted" How dare they leave a puppy! I was mad. I saw my parents coming back. I ran to them and said "PLEASE CAN WE KEEP HIM HE WAS ABANDONED AND I WILL TAKE CARE OF HIM ILL FEED HIM GIVE HIM WATER TAKE HIM ON WALKS AND LOVE HIM!" In like the fastest thing I ever said. My parents and the puppy looked at me like I was crazy.

"Only if you will take the full responsibility of the puppy" "Yes I will!" I jumped up and down to have a new puppy. I was so happy. We put him the the car and we drove off to Washinton. He was so happy. Goodbye Texas, hello Washington.
