Onix was not, in fact waiting for me where he said he would. Instead, there was a very familiar face leaning against a cinder block wall.

"Hannah, good to see you." I said, using her public name.

"Christian, late as always." She said, turning and beginning to walk down a side alleyway. If anyone were to come across us, they would assume we were two strangers, on the same street. I walked a few feet behind Hurri, and to her left. She was wearing a Bears hoodie, and I was wearing a ski jacket. Nothing on us, except for a pair of pistols and decoders, could connect us to each other. And those were well hidden under our respective jackets.

"Behind you, and to the right." Hurri whispered, dropping back.

"I see him." I said, having noticed him a few blocks back.

The man suddenly turned into a run down building, and vanished.

"Well." Hurri commented. "Onix certainly could've chosen a better safe house.

"Wait, that was Nix?" I asked as she turned to the building.

"'Course it was. The Gov got pictures of his face in the NORAD raid, remember?" She said. Yes, we raided NORAD. We managed to damage the entrance of the base, and get in. And that's about it. We lost fifty or so good fighters in that raid, and forced Warriors for freedom out of the major raiding campaign being conducted by Tide. Onix was one of the lucky few who got in and got out alive, and unshackled.

"C'mon." Hurri said, scanning the street before entering the run down, apartment complex would be my guess. I followed her in. The outside was mush like the inside, neglected, with rotting furniture and dust coating everything.

"Good to see you Cite." Onix said. lifting a rug to reveal... Whoopee, more scratched up wood. He bent down, and pressed on of the boards down. There was a slight hiss of compressed air, and a square of wood, large enough to crawl through, but with little room to spare, lifted up, revealing a tunnel about the same size as the new hole in the floor.

"I guess now would be a bad time to mention I'm claustrophobic?" I said as Onix started his crawl through.

"Get in there and be thankful you're not at a prison camp." Hurri ordered.

"Right." I said, starting my crawl through. The tunnel sloped down slightly, and only went through a few feet of the ground. At the other end was a mix of a living room, kitchen and bedroom.

"Welcome to Camp Refuge, spreading his arms out. "Not much, but enough. We've tapped into the cities main powergrid, gas line, and sewage system." He wrinkled his nose at that one. "That was not fun, trust me"

"I can imagine." Hurri said, probably remembering the time she had snuck Lily out of an Ampo station using the sewers. Speaking of Lily, she was, unsurprisingly, sprawled out on the one couch in the room, pouring over her tablet.

"Cite, good job with that hack on Camp Alpha." She said, looking up for the first time.

"Thanks." I said. "But Warden got most of the work done, I just edited the code." Lily shrugged, and went back to her tablet. "Why are you here, instead of your home base?" I asked her.

"This is my home base. I run Camp Refuge. Onix is just a long term guest." She said.

"Which she won't let me expand." Onix said.

"I told you, it would attract to much attention, especially with Ampo patrolling the outskirts of Indianapolis daily." Lily replied.

"And who set of the bomb that attracted them in the first place?" Onix asked.

"It was either that, or let Sky get captured."

There was a pause as a heavy silence settled over us. "I'll take watch tonight." I said, breaking the silence. Not that we really needed one. Wattpadians were all night owls, I, on a regular basis, got four or five hours of sleep a night. I know Ice used to get less, somewhere in the range of three. We mainly slept during the day, taking power naps here and there. Those of us in refugee camps probably got more sleep than most of us on the outside on a regular basis.

"Where's Ice?" Hurri asked.

Onix snickered. "We got her mexican from some cheap joint down the road. She hasn't left the bathroom since." Lily glared at him, but both Hurri and I were cracking up. After we had our giggles, I handed my decoder to Hurri.

"Thought you might want to get on. Password is the same as always." I said, walking to the small kitchen-like section of the room.

"Want some mexican?" Onix asked, holding out a brown paper bag. I glanced at the only door in the room, which was currently closed.

"Uh, no." I said. "Have anything high in sugar?"

"No can do, my friend, were out of coffee and Icecream." Onix said. "But I have a can of whip cream with your name on it."

"I'll take it." I said. He opened the door of the largest appliance in the room, a full size fridge, and tossed me an aluminum can. I plopped down on one of the two barstools on the side of the room, occasionally tilting my head back to have a shot of whip cream.

"How is our dear sector?" I asked Hurri.

"Getting nothing done." Hurri said dryly.

"I wouldn't be either, since, you know, two victories, two days. We're on a roll." Yes, escaping from the Ampo, sadly, is rare enough to be considered a victory.

Hurri shook her head. "That certainly is everyone else's opinion."

"Even Wolf?"

"What do you think? She's too busy trying to get everyone back to work to celebrate."

"Please, I bet she stole a beer to celebrate." I said. Wolf worked as a bartender in a military outpost, serving the enemy their daily amount of alcohol, and listening to conversations between soldiers.

"Wouldn't surprise me." I said. "How is your dearest Nighty, anyway." I said, remembering Nighty worked with Wolf.

"Could you not call him Nighty, and use his actual Watt name?"

"Nope." I said.

Hurri sighed. "Of course not. He's fine."

I grinned.

Eventually, Hurri logged out of her account, tossed me the USB, and crashed on one of the two beds, the other completely occupied by Onix, leaving me to wonder how someone so small could take up so much room. A half hour later, Ice emerged from the bathroom, quickly shutting the door, giving me a disgruntled wave, and pushing Onix nearly off his bed so she could have a spot.

As they slept, I tilted my head back a final time, finishing off the last of the whip cream, and glancing at my watch.

It was already three in the morning. Lily would probably wake up soon.

As I said, we are hardcore night owls.
