Okay, here we go, first night on the job... I'll be fine. Kaylub thought as he arrived at Freddy's Pizzeria. He looked around the outside remembering when he and his friends would come here. He smiled at the memory before entering. He was greeted by his boss.

"Good of you to show up a few minutes early." Kaylub nodded feeling incredibly small in front of the giant man... then again he was only 5'2". "Follow me," Boss said as Kaylub follows him looking at the stage seeing Bonnie, Freddy, and Chica currently deactivated. He sees that Pirate's Cove's curtains are closed. Boss leads him past the main area and down the halls to where the security office was located. "Mike, meet the new employee, Kaylub." Kaylub peeked around Boss to see Mike whos face instantly heated up while he was on the phone.

"I'll talk to you guys later," Mike said as he hung up the phone. Boss raised a brow.

"Well, Mike will be aiding you through your nights. If you have any questions about the night shift you should ask him as he's been one of my longest employees." Boss then leaves as Kaylub enters the office with a wave.

"It's been a while, Mikey," Kaylub said as Mike's face had cooled down. He nods before sitting down looking at the cameras. Kaylub sighed as he listened to the message left by Phone Guy. 

He then goes over to the doors turning on the lights checking the halls.

"Keep the lights off. It's a waste of power to have them on," Mike said as he flicked through the cams noticing how most of the animatronics seemed to be remaining where they are. What's their game?

"Why not?" 

"Hm?" Mike looked up from the tablet to see Kaylub standing there. His short black hair framing his childish face with his wide innocent obsidian eyes. He couldn't help but blush again. "It wastes power and we can hear them coming anyway," he said looking back to the tablet taking note of the clock which only glared back a 2. Why can't time go faster?

"I'm sorry I moved. I didn't know-"

"I'm not mad at you." The camera flits out as he places it down looking to Kaylub who tilted his head. "I mean I am slightly because you disappear for years and only now come back... but I'm more upset at your parents for making you move before my birthday. I'm glad you're back though." Kaylub giggles softly as Mike smiles slightly. The two then hear steps coming towards the left door as Mike goes over and closes the door.

"Why do you work here?"

"Fazbear's Entertainment is a very tricky company and they love to suck people in and trap them here. I just happened to fall for it." He shrugs before opening the door seeing that Bonnie had left. "Why are you here?"

"Just finished college and needed a job to pay the bills while I work on my music."

"Right, you always wanted to be a musician. Always was by Bonnie playing on your guitar that you made your dad buy you." Kaylub blushed rubbing the back of his neck. 

"Should we check the cameras?" 

"Right," Mike said as he picked up the tablet to check the cams noticing how Bonnie, Chica, Freddy, and even Foxy were all in their proper places. "Guess Bonnie just wanted to see you again."

"Do you think it would be okay?" Mike turns to Kaylub who was standing by the left door looking down the hall. 

"No, it's not exactly safe." He turns back around.

"Because of the children's souls?" Mike spins looking at him with wide eyes.

"What?"

"I heard the stories of children who died in these restaurants and their bodies were never found. Is that why?"

"... not anymore," Mike said as Kaylub looks back at him with a tilt of his head. "The souls of the children were released, but Fazbear entertainment are money-seeking dumbasses who decided to keep the many locations they had and make a fucking mess." He huffs.

"So they're safe to be around?"

"Well, sort of, the animatronics might decide to play a scaring prank on you because you're new, but so far they seem to be not doing that. Also, something happened and they seemed to have changed. I recommend we don't say hi to them... plus it's 6 already." The two hear the bell sounding the end of their shift as Mike gets up and stretches with a groan. "Thank god it's over. Do you have a place to stay yet?"

"Not yet, I was thinking of renting an apartment... but I don't have that much money."

"You can stay with me and the other night guards." Kaylub's eyes lit up like stars as Mike blushed again.

"Wait... do you even have room?"

"Yeah, and if we didn't you could always crash in my room." Kaylub smiles as he follows Mike out.

The two arrive back at the apartment only to hear a crash coming from inside.

"Vincent get back here!" The ruckus from the apartment had Kaylub look up to Mike who shook his head mumbling something about stupid grape.

"Should we go in?" Kaylub asked as Mike sighed unlocking the door to see Vicent pinned down to the ground by a pissed off Scott. 

"Don't ever touch my phone again!" He shouted before looking up after Mike cleared his voice. "Oh, is it already six am?"

 "You're the Phone Guy." this causes a tint of pink to rise to his cheeks.

"Yes, that I am. I usually wear my phone, but we're at home... you must be Kaylub, the new night guard." Kaylub nodded stepping forward to shake the 6'4" male's hand who happened to have regained his composure. The two shake hands as Vincent pops up.

"Hello, cutie~" He's then swiftly knocked unconscious and dragged away by Michel Afton who looked rather annoyed with the purple-tinted male.

"You'll have to excuse him. Vincent isn't... normal. Mike can show you your room. I must be going now, but it was a pleasure to meet you. I'm sure you'll meet the others soon enough." Scott then exits the room heading back to his own room to get ready for work. Kaylub looked to Mike who looked back then nodded his head. 

"Follow me." The two travel down the hall where there were rooms on either side. The apartment only had five bedrooms as Mike stops before one. "This one is all yours."

"Wait... are there really only four night guards?" Kaylub asked as he looked to Mike.

"No, Fritz and Jeremy share a room as do Michel and Vincent. We had a free room and now it's yours. Welcome to the Night guard house." Mike then turns on his heels and entered his own room which was right next to Kaylubs.

"Guess that's okay," he said as he entered his own room and looked around. It was empty of any personality as it had a twin bed, dresser, nightstand, mirror, and two doors leading to the personal bathroom and closet. He had a window and when he opened it he could see the Fazbear area from where he was. This really is the start of a new chapter. He smiled to himself before yawning climbing into his bed and falling asleep.
