❄Sapphire❄

My feet are stuck. I can't hear anything but this loud ringing silence. I can see perfectly. Every detail is so way to see as the world plays in slow motion.

I try to move but I'm as stiff as ice. everyone is. maybe its shock or so sort of spell cast over us.

Blazefire try's to get out of the way as our fathers claws reach for him. Blazefire roars as he's pushed backwards. He slowly flips onto his back his own claws trying to push his attacker away. They role backwards tumbling over each other, snarling. Blazefire pushes Toothless of with his powerful hind legs before slowly leaping up and pinning out dad.

They are very evenly matched. They are the same size. Blazefire doesn't have much practice in battle but that doesn't seem to hold him back to much. But our father is very strong. He is alpha because he won battles against other alphas. So he is more entitled to win than my brother.

I continue to watch their fierce but slow moving fight. I judge their tactics and moves, when it dawns on me in my slow and dazed thinking.... Why in Thor's name am I just standing here watching my brother and dad try to kill each other? Actually its not even my dad. There's something wrong with his sent, and the markings along his spine aren't his.

I try to move but I'm still quite stuck. I slowly look to my right then to my left to see if anyone else I trying o break free of the spell, I don't notice any hints.

I try again to move my feet, nothing. A screech from one of the two in front of my make me look back up t the ongoing battle. I see a black paw scratching through the red scales on my brothers cheeks.

I stop focusing on them and pay attention to my surroundings. I need to make them stop. I need to freeze his paws to the ground so that my brother can attack Goldensun.

I summon my powers and feel the air around me drop in temperature. I doesn't bother me. I focus on the ground around their feet. a thin sheet of ice starts to form. I force it to become thicker and smoother. more hazardous and slippery. harder to fight on.

Blazefires paws sink through the ice. steam billowing out of his paw prints. The thing controlling my dad slips on the ice. I take advantage and ice starts to encase his paws, heavy sheets forming on his wings. He is pinned under the weight and stuck in place now.

Blazefire nods at me in approval before leaping at Goldensun. Everything is still very slow. I try to move my legs. they feel very heavy and unwilling to move but I make them move. Others are starting to slightly fidget in place as I slowly gallop after my brother.

💥Blazefire💥

I run full speed at the fiery, golden monster. Goldensun seems stunned. It could be from watching how the ice disabled my father. I hope he's ok.

I reach my sharp claws into the fiery pelt. It roars in anger and surprise. another force smashes into it and I see Sapphire holding onto the pelt. Frost eats away at the flames around Sapphire's body. Her eyes seem glazed and her movements uncoordinated but I still accept her help.

" Where is Darkfang and Bolt!?" I yell at Goldensun pinning her to the ground.

She just smiles.

I look at Sapphire. " Start covering her in ice, I don't want her to escapee without us finding Darkfang and Bolt."

She just stares at me confused before anything happens the frost starts to creep farther out along the animal's pelt.

" Where's Darkfang and Bolt!?" I repeat more forcefully.

" you won't have to worry about them any longer"

I growl in anger. " what did you do!?"

She smirks. "Water is dead and Death Will suffer no end"

I think about what that means. Bolt controls water, and Darkfang controls death and lightning.

" What did you do?" I growl quietly.

" Water is dead, and Death one is cursed," is all she says before howling. it sounds much like a wolfs. I try to figure out why she howls when the frost touches my claws as if its reminding me of my sisters presence.

I look up at her. Her eyes are slitted. and cold white thick ice quickly covering the areas of pelt already covered in frost. I remove my paws as the ice moves quickly over the area.

" You can't do that!" she yells.

The howling stops. The ice finishes covering the whole body of Goldensun before erupting and slitting apart. Goldensun quickly stands knocking Sapphire back. I try to leap at Goldensun but miss. Just as She disappears into the forest I notice something different about the animal but can place it.

I turn bak to Sapphire but she is already gone. I look around alarmed before I see her by our dad with everyone else. I run over. The ice is already removed and my dad is shaking off small snow and ice partials.

The red markings are still on his scales. I open mouth to say something before I see them turn a glowing blue and disappear. I just frown. I have more important things to worry about than disappearing markings.

Our leader and peacekeeper are missing. And I'm not listening to anything Goldensun has to say about what happened to them.

I look over the group of dragons in front of me, everyone is hear. except one.

" Guys,... where's, Hiccup?"

(A/N, sorry for not updating. I've been busy and having my hands full all the time. Im hoping that ill get back on track and update every week like I was before.

And sorry about this chapter. Blazefires part is kinda confusing. at least I got lost when writing it, it might be because of how late it is. I don't know.... Or the smell of death coming from my window from a fresh kill my cat made and decided to eat outside my window. all I heard was a lot of crunching an the smell of death 😑.
