Tonight is the night everything is going to change.

We have managed to finally saved up enough power to prepare a portal to the new dimension.

"A-are you ready?" Victoria stutters.

Frozen in thought, I robotically nod, not bothering to see anyone else's reaction.

"You know the plan...right?" She mumbles, doubtfully.

Of course I knew the plan. I had been forcing it repeatedly in my brain for a few hours now. Victoria, seemingly reading my thoughts, flicked the silver switch to the portal. A white flash of light busts through my eyes, blinding the entire room.

And the moment I open them back again, I realize.

We were back at Earth.
