"I saw a very insecure wife tonight!" Exclaimed Neil, getting out of the car. Avni turned around and quickly pecked on his lips. "Woah!" Neil was surely surprised with the instant gift. Avni laughed and headed to the door. Neil followed her and kissed on the back of her exposed neck, as Avni fished the keys to the lock. It was late in the night and everyone was probably asleep. Neil and Avni returned home after attending a dinner with Avni's work colleagues.

The lock opened and Avni opened the door, taking off her shoes. Her steps froze, as she noticed a figure moving in the living room. She quickly turned around and clapped her hand over Neil's mouth before he utters a word. Neil's eyes widened. "Hush! There's someone in the living room.." Avni whispered. She walked to down the hallway, to the entrance of the living room, Neil right behind her. There wasn't just one person, but two. Avni didn't go for a second thought, she just turned on the light, and Alas! Avni gasped loudly! And Neil held on to the door frame tightly. "NICHOLE!" Avni's roared out loud! She moved in a jiffy and grabbed on to Nichole, who had trapped her cousin Ella on the couch! "You dog!!" She clutched on to the collar of his shirt and pushed him away, he hit the chest drawer at the side of the room and fell on to the floor. Neil was motionless for a while, but he gained his conscious with the thump sound of Nichole hitting the floor. Neil hurried to Ella, who hugged him tightly! By now, both Ayesha and Joseph downstairs. Ansh and Zarah came running, Marcus and Simran right behind them. "Whats going on?" Joseph asked. "HOW DARE YOU TOUCH HER?! HOW DARE YOU TOUCH HER NICHOLE?"Avni thundered again, grabbing his collar and pulling him up on his feet this time. Ayesha gasped! She hurried to Ella. "Ella..!" Ella moved out of Neil's embrace and hugged Ayesha. Neil moved to control Avni, but she held a hand towards him. "No, Only I will deal with him!" Joseph nodded to Neil, assuring him Avni would handle the guy. "Filthy man. You are not my friend, and today, I feel disgusted to have had you in that shoe once!! You, wanted to make me yours? and after knowing that I was already married, this was the best way to get your balls out of your pants?! Chi! Move out of my sight, before I gain the courage of cutting them off! NOW!" Avni roared again, and Nichole quickly grabbed his belongings and headed to the door. But before he reached to the exit, Avni again grabbed his arm and turned him towards her. The next thing they all knew, she had gifted him with a slap, "If you don't want to see me in the Courtroom, making you get off from your own pants, do not show up here, ever again. You got it?!" She pointed a finger to him, and opened the door. Nichole tried to say something but, "OUT!!" Avni exclaimed, making him drop his face and walk out. His face was red, and badly bruised by Avni's punches. 

Zarah and Ayesha was sitting at the side of Ella, consoling her. But the poor girl was badly shocked, she wasn't in her senses. Avni stood at the entrance, her hands hugging herself. Tears streamed down her eyes, and her body trembled. Neil had gone with Ansh to get their family doctor, Joseph and Marcus sat at the couches oppositely. The doctor came after a while, gave a dose of sleeping inj to Ella, advising them to take her to a counsellor soon. Ayesha noticed Avni staying away from all of it. She walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. It was then Avni could not hold it anymore. "Shhh.."Ayesha hugged her tightly. "All this..has happened because of me, Mama.." Ayesha's eyes widened, as Avni put out her words. "No.." She forced Avni a bit away, and looked into her face. "Don't you dare blame yourself in this!.. We all are equally responsible in that aspect! We all failed to understand him.." "But Mama, Neil tried to warn me, but I did not listen to him.." Avni's voice trailed off. "No, shush! I don't want to hear anything.. This, did not happen because of you, okay? Even Ella had been close to him, as he visit here often. No one, not even Ella foresaw this! so please.." Ayesha warned Avni. But deep down she knew Avni wouldn't be at ease. 

Avni was already in bed when Neil came out of shower. He turned off the alarm of Avni's phone as it was a Monday the following morning, and got into bed next to her. Avni didn't move. She was too lost into a thought, and Neil knew exactly about what. He hugged her from behind and gently brought into his arms. Avni squeezed her eyes shut, and took a deep breath. Neil lifted up his head and kissed on the side of her face. "No one drapes the blanked, before they fall sick. The same way, you didn't see this coming, and neither got any signals for yourself. As Mama said, even Ella did not. So you don't have to make yourself responsible, love." Avni listened to Neil carefully, and turned around to hug him, she buried her face in his chest. Neil knew she was trying her best not to cry. He squeezed her more into his arms, running his fingers on her hair. 

Avni took silent steps to Ella's room, as she wanted to check on her. Everyone was gathered there, including her Aunt and Uncle-Ella's mother and father. Garrett smiled at Avni and beckoned her to walk in. He hugged her and kissed on her forehead. "Ayesha told me all about it, and you. should not be the least bit worried, understand?" He warned Avni. Avni smiled in return as Hannah hugged her too. "Ella, I'm-" Avni started again. But Ella shook her head, refusing Avni to continue. She was in a really good mood already, as Nichole was not able to do much. "Ugh Neil, please take your negative minded wife to some place so that her whole brain get washed with positive vibes!" Ella dramatically called out Neil. Everyone in the room laughed at her gesture, including Avni. Neil looked at Avni and their eyes met. Avni gave him a heartwarming smile. Neil could interpret, a thank, lust and love, all for him from her!
