Y/n's POV

I was training with Shiro, mainly to let out some anger. Why I got all worked up about what Lance said to Keith, I don't know. I had noticed I'd been feeling more emotional lately, but I didn't know why either. So, Shiro, being the best big brother he was, helped me let loose my anger on the Gladiator.

"Y/n, Y/n, it's done. You can stop." Shiro grabs me by the shoulders and shakes me slightly. I look down at the robot under me. I hadn't realized that I'd been repeatedly hitting it after I had knocked it down. I take a deep breath, sitting down. I felt drained.

"Are you sure you're not just mad about what Lance said?" Shiro asks, sitting next to me.

"Yes...no...I don't know." I admit. I feel my eyes start to swell and my vision becomes blurry from unfallen tears.

"Y/n, come here." Shiro pulls me into a hug and I cry into his shoulder.

"Is Y/n alright?" I hear a familiar voice ask and I look up to see Keith. His violet eyes were filled with worry.

"She's fine. Just been having a rough day." Shiro replies for me. Keith nods before leaving hesitantly. Shiro moves me from his shoulder to look at him.

"It's not just what Lance said, is it? It's more about who he said it to." Shiro says. I nod, even though it wasn't really a question.

"For how long?" He asks.

"I don't know. I only realized fully after he saved me from that alien at the mall. I don't know if he likes me back though." I confess. Shiro smiles.

"You may be surprised." I raise an eyebrow at my brother.

"What do you mean?"

"If you don't ask him, it's already 'no'. What do you got to lose?" Shiro says. I laugh.

"You sound like Mom when you say that." I say.

"Oh my gosh, I did sound like Mom." Shiro smirks.

"Thanks, Shiro."

"Anything for my lil sis."
