Mary and Betty still weren't speaking to each other, they  were the Olivia De Havilland and Joan Fontaine of Riverdale right now. Mary, Betty, Archie, Jughead, Veronica and Kevin were all sitting in the Student Lounge.

"My mom and dad don't want to get the police involved." Mary muttered sitting on the arm of chair that Archie was sitting in. Betty couldn't even look at her.

"They don't want anyone to know that she ran away, or about her shameful condition." Betty added on and whispered the last bit.

"Please." Veronica exclaimed. "What decade is this?" Veronica asked rhetorically. Mary just nodded her head in agreement.

"Also, since she knew where Jason's getaway car was, they're afraid people might think that she burned it and that if she did." Mary started to explain before Archie started to speak.

"She could be the murderer, trying to cover her tracks." Mary just nodded her head with agreement.

"Who did burn the car, then?" Veronica asked. Mary looked over to see Reggie speaking to the burnouts off the school and that was strange due to her weird behaviour around them and not his usual bullying behaviour.

"Sheriff Keller says it's possible someone was following us." Betty explained leaning in closer to Jughead.

"Oh, my God." Kevin exclaimed.

"Honestly, guys, we should just move." Veronica added on looking at everyone.

"Trust me." Mary muttered. "I will move as soon as I leave." She added on looking at her feet.

"And I can't wait for that." Betty added on smiling cynical. Mary just rolled her eyes and everyone had fallen silent.

"Guys, what if Polly's really hurt? What if whoever killed Jason is coming after her next?" Mary muttered to herself and Betty just rolled her eyes and stood up.

"Mary you don't even like Polly!" Betty shouted walking up to Mary who stood up and they both stood centimetres apart. "Are you doing this for sympathy? Because you crave attention don't you." Betty extended and Mary held back the tears.

"Betty what the hell is your problem?" Mary screamed and people began to look at the sisters fighting.

"You! You stayed at home all summer and then murders happened, drama happened!" Betty shouted and Archie butted in.

"Betty come on." He added but everyone else just shook their heads at him.

"Are you saying that I am the murder, that I cause everything. I am the problem!" Mary shouted and Betty just nodded her head.

"If the shoe fits." Betty smirked and Mary just stormed away.

"MOVE!" Mary screamed marching down the corridor in anger. Betty just sat back down and Jughead continued the conversation.

"Betty, even though your parents don't want to, maybe you should go to the police." Jughead said and Kevin eagerly jumped in.

"Second it." He shouted. "We can talk to my dad together about how he has to be discreet." He extended but Jughead shook his head.

"No offense, Kev, but your dad answers to a higher authority than God, the Blossoms. They're the first people that he would tell."

"And if there's anyone to keep this a secret from, it's the Blossoms." Archie added on looking over at Betty.

"They'd twist it around and go after Polly out of spite." Betty sighed and Veronica looked over at her.

"How can we help? Tell us, B, and we'll do it." Veronica replied and everyone smiled at Betty. Everyone was on Betty's side and Mary just felt isolated, she always did.

___

Mary was walking behind the school drying her tears. She could hear voices whispering.

"Where did you get the Jingle Jangle from?" Mary heard, she thought to herself. "What the hell is Jingle Jangle?" "From my drug dealer." Mary heard, "oh my god drug dealer, this town is wack!" She shouted in her head. If there was one thing in the world Mary hated it would be drugs. "Well who is your drug dealer then?" The guy asked. "Reggie, Reggie Mantle." They other burnout said and Mary just slid down the wall. Everything she knew was a lie. Her sister thought she was a murder! Her friends chose Betty over her, even Archie. Her boyfriend was a drug dealer and last but not least she still hadn't heard back from Oliver about her music.

Mary phoned beeped and Mary looked at it, Cheryl had sent out a tweet.

Cheryl Blossom: #PollyCooperKilledMyBrother, NowhereToHide, SharpenYourPitchforks.
Oh, no.

Mary gasped and ran to go find everyone, she bumped into them in the halls.

"Did you hear?" She cried and everyone just nodded. "We need to go find her." Mary shouted and they all ran down the corridor.

The friend group had rounded up a search party to find Polly in Evergreen Forest. Mary and Betty still weren't talking and Mary didn't think she could ever forgive Betty.

"Okay, the Sisters of Quiet Mercy are due north." Betty started off grabbing everyone's attention.
"The getaway car was west, on the Old Route 40." Mary continued. "The closest bus station is east, headed towards Sweetwater." She added off and she saw Reggie smiled at her but she ignored him.

"If Polly wanted to leave Riverdale without anyone seeing her, she probably would've left through Right here." Betty continued looking over at her sister who was ignoring her and looking straight ahead.

"Eversgreen Forest." Mary added on pointing to the ground. "So let's get going!" She shouted and then stormed off. Reggie tried to catch up with her but got distracted by taking an selfie. Archie ran up to her and started walking beside her.

"Hey, all this stuff with your sisters, with both sister, I'm sorry you had to go through that, and I wasn't there to help you." Archie confessed and Mary looked up and smiled at her.

"It's okay, Arch, you're here now." Mary replied as they walked side by side. But Mary came to a quick halt. She saw the Blossoms, with the Sheriff and the Vixens with others. Alice Cooper was no happy and glared at the Blossoms. Mary stood beside her mom with her dad and sister.

"Alice Cooper, where is she? Where's Polly?" Cheryl asked and Alice scoffed.

"You think if I knew that, I'd be out here with the mosquitoes?" Alice asked and that was true. Alice hated bugs and nature.

"Face facts, Mommie Dearest, Polly killed Jason." Cheryl explained and Mary had to stand up for her mom.

"Face Facts Twincester Number One, you know nothing." Mary smirked at her and hissed. Cheryl glared back at Mary and fired back.

"She escaped from the asylum once, who's to say she didn't before, say, the day Jason got murdered? The noose is tightening around your murdering daughter's neck." Cheryl smirked and Mary hissed. Mary walked forward and so did Cheryl.

"Cheryl go to hell." Mary hissed and Reggie tried to pull her back but Mary turned around. "You as well, go to hell." She muttered in Reggie's ear and Reggie looked at her confused and walked away.

"I know it, Sheriff Keller knows it." Cheryl added in and Kevin looked at his dad in disgrace along with Mary.

"Hold on now." He started to say before Mary continued to speak.

"Sheriff how long have we known you, fifteen years, fifteen good years and you are going to throw that away all because of an accusation made by a naïve sixteen year old." Mary spat and the Sheriff Keller couldn't look at the Cooper's who were scowling.

"And I promise you, when we find her, and we will find her, the entire town of Riverdale will know, too." Cheryl replied smirking.

___

Mary, Betty and Alice were all sitting in a church preparing themselves for the press. Mary had changed her outfit into a plain red skater dress and threw her hair up in a low ponytail.

"Mom, is this a good idea?" Mary asked pacing up and down the church.

"I thought we were trying to contain this." Betty extended as both daughters looked at their mom.

"Well, we were, Elizabeth, Maria." Alice started putting on some powder. "But now that the cat's out of the bag, we're in full-on damage-control mode. The Blossoms have their version of the events, but they don't know the whole story, at least not yet. And that gives us a momentary advantage." Alice explained and Betty looked extremely nervous.

"I don't know if I can do this." Betty confessed and Alice looked at her with pursed lips.

"Oh, you can, and you will." Alice stated. "You'll be standing right beside me and your father and your sister, a united front against the holiest of backdrops." Alice exclaimed pointing to the church. "Let's see the Blossoms try to smear us then." Alice shouted and Betty sighed. They walked out of the church and met their dad outside. "There's been a swirl of rumours today about our daughter, Polly." Alice shouted looking at everyone while Mary just glared at the Blossoms slyly. "And we're standing here to tell you that they're all false. Yes, Polly was seeking treatment in a private care facility, and she was under strict observation even at the time of Jason Blossom's death. When she found out about the murder, she was beside herself with grief. You see, my daughter, Polly, is pregnant with Jason Blossom's baby." Alice explained and everybody muttered and gasped at it. The Blossoms looked beside themselves with sick and confusion.

"Polly wouldn't hurt a fly, let alone the father of her unborn child." Mary added on in a persuasive voice.

"Polly, darling, if you're watching this, please come home." Alice expressed trying to hold back the tears. Mary looked down at the ground and cried.
