Rosie Pov.

It's been a week since I got my 'powers'. I guess I can call them that. Today we have a mission. It's only Steven, Connie and me though. I'm sure at least one of the gems will watch us though. Probably Pearl.

Garnet sensed a corrupted gem on watermelon island. So here we are. It's a little weird. Having watermelon Stevens running around.

They are kinda cute though. Especially the ones with flower crowns. And the babies are so nice! They would just come up and hug us!

We were all just walking around. We heard a low growl. I looked to Steven and Connie and all of us nodded. We started running in the direction of the growl.

When we got there, a large gem monster was clawing a tree. It was green, and had white spikes on top. The poor thing looked scared.

Connie was the first to attack. She ran for it and jumped on its back. The gem growled and ran for Steven and I. He made a bubble around us.

"Steven we can do this! Put down the bubble!" I shouted, determined. He released the bubble and I ran for it. I jumped on with Connie and Steven ran behind it. Soon, all three of us were standing on it, trying to pry her gem off.

After about ten minutes of yanking, the corruption finally went back inside her gem. Steven bubbled it and sent it off.

The three of us hugged each other and jumped in a circle.
"Yeah we did it!" Steven shouted in happiness.

We were about to head home when another sound was heard. It sounded like a ship.

"Better run runts." We heard a voice growl. We turned around and....
