Para Claire Fleming el pueblo de Hawkins era el infierno, lugar donde se mantenían vigentes sus peores recuerdos y todo lo que alguna vez había dejado atrás, dos años lejos no parecieron ser suficientes para borrar esas cicatrices.

Al volver a aquel lugar que antes llamaba hogar, no esperaba que las cosas hubieran cambiado tanto desde su mudanza. Nunca espero llamar a ese pueblo “interesante” o “inesperado”, pero desde su regreso eran las únicas palabras que servían para describirlo.

Decir que había cambiado era quedarse corta, todo había dado un giro de 180° grados desde la última vez que estuvo allí. Un chico, Will Byers, había desaparecido misteriosamente y el hecho destapó los extraños sucesos que tenían lugar en la zona.
