Laura walked down the hallway, trying not to make a sound as she listened carefully around her. Her finger tips pressed against the wall as it guided her down. This is what she did when she lost sight again. She would feel her way and use her instincts to help her as well. That's why she was being so quiet. But, nearly getting caught by Eggman was another reason too. She kept walking until she stopped and flicked her ears around. Something had moved and it was following her. She stayed still a quiet. But nothing moved. Not a sound. Not a peep. "Where'd it go
....?"she whispered softly as she tried to locate the thing again. But she heard something. Suddenly, two hands grabbed her wrists and pulled them away from the wall and close to her chest. Something taller than her was behind her back. The thing creeped up to her ear and whispered gently. "I don't think walking around in the place of my enemy would be such a good idea if I were you...~ Especially if I can't see~" the voice purred softly and Laura let out a small whimper as her ears lowered in fear. She knew who it was but she didn't want to turn around because she knew how heated her face was at the moment. She managed to let out a chuckle though it came out shaky and nervous. "I-I get the feeling that we'll keep running into each other this way...." She said and the person let out a low chuckle. "It would appear to be that way" they said before they stepped away from her and let her go at the same time.

Laura turned her to face him but sadly she still couldn't see him. She moved the hair fluff out of her right eye and held her hands behind her back. Shadow stared at her with his arms crossed but.....he didn't hold his usual cold-hearted stare. It had softened and it held interested in the female. But it was still blank. He stared at her back and down. "You are rhe lightest shade of blue I have ever seen"he said." I didn't think there would be another blue hedgehog"he continued. "Another one? So you really do know my brother" "Your brother? That disgrace to hedgehog kind is your idiot of a brother?"the male asked. Laura couldn't help but giggle softly and smiled softly. "Yes,that disgrace to hedgehog kind is my brother. My older twin brother to be honest" she said and Shadow stared at her. "It's seems rather impossible to see how someone was stupidly reckless as him can be related to.......well, someone like you"he said. She laughed this time."Oh,you'd be surprised how similar we are"she said and smiled.

Shadow let a small smirk appear on his face. There was a small silence between the two."So,um... your name is Shadow the Hedgehog?"Laura asked,trying to break the silence. It made her uncomfortable. The male studied her for a while before speaking. "Correct,and your are Laura the hedgehog?" "Correct"she copied him and Shadow couldn't help but scoff in amusement. "Cute but I really wouldn't be walking around if I were you. Considering you nearly got caught a while back" he said and she shrugged."Well for one,I don't know how to find my way back and two? Frankly,I don't want to go back in that room. I want to explore. I want to be free,not trapped inside"she said and started to walk away. She heard a chuckled and stopped walking."You were right. You are related to that blue blur. You're both stubborn and don't think things over"he said and Laura remained quiet before a small smile formed on her face.

"Told ya so"she said before walking ahead. "I wouldn't walk that way if I were you" "Really, is that so? And why not---OUCH!" She started but stopped when she hit a wall. The female backed up and rubbed her nose. Shadow's smirk grew wider and he let out a laugh. "Looks like you've hit a dead end, princess~" he purred out while Laura's face grew red once more. "Y-Yeah, well....! L-Like I said,I don't know where I'm going! A-And I can't see anything either so....."she tried to argue back but couldn't find anything else to say so she remained quiet. She felt a hand grabbed her wrist and suddenly she was being pulled away. "Come on. If you really want to get out of here then I'll lead you. But remember, you can't leave this place or do any reckless. You're still injured and you can't walk straight either"Shadow's voice could be heard in front of her. "I've never been able to walk straight. I was born crippled. One of my legs is shorter than the other"Laura said. Shadow continued to walk before stopping. All of a sudden, Laura was being lifted off the ground and Shadow casually carried her bridal-style through the halls. "H-Hey! Put me down!"she scolded at him. "Shut up or I'm throwing you off the balcony"he said bluntly and instantly, Laura quit talking and held onto him instead. Nice start to getting to know you soulmate don't you think?
