Mya walked alongside her new friend Airini.

Airini smiled, "There is nothing to thank me for." Making Mya shake her head. "You have helped me to become the Luna i am supposed to be. Six months ago if i had been told my mate was an Alpha i would have run." Sighing she continued "How could a rouge omega be Luna? No, without your help our mating would have been damaged."
Airini said nothing for a moment. "Then i am pleased i met you. The time we spent together before meeting Alan. I told you before you were special." Her mind flitting to the day she found the emaciated she wolf. "No matter how much you wanted to give up. The moon goddess deemed you strong enough for an alpha mate. For the rest, you learn fast. " Mya didn't argue because it was true, though Airini saw more than that.
Sighing she stopped walking" I suppose you will be leaving soon?" It had been no secret that when Airini thought her time was up she would leave."You knew i would. The path i have chosen calls for it. I am waiting on my wolf to tell me the way." Mya nodded accepting the inevitable. Grabbing Airinis arm she continued walking.
"In that case we will enjoy what time we have. Let's go see if the cooks want any help." She said making both laugh.

Halfway to the kitchen Airinis felt restless and she sighed knowing her time was up when the loudest growl either had heard came from the house. She knew then, this was her path. Running into the house as fast as she could, Mya behind her calling her name, she dodged through the hallways until she came to the Alphas office. Stopping to take a deep breath she opened the door and stepped inside.
