Elmond is honestly a very gifted man who is extremely social and adaptable. The man is very friendly and easy to get along with, especially because of his extroverted, uplifting personality. He's outgoing and expressive, and tends to be very adaptable, taking blows at himself very well and bouncing back very quickly. He's had to deal with quite a lot in his life, and being able to roll with the punches is something he holds in Hugh regard. He is extremely intelligent, having graduated from college at a very early age and moved to teaching very quickly, and he is also very clever with words, almost sly. He could very easily trick someone with them if he chose. He's very encouraging and has a good heart, and though he can be frightened easily, he can usually muster courage to face things that scare him.

⌜BACKSTORY⌟
Elmond was born the the air kingdom to a woman who was not married. And, as it wasn't accepted to have children before marriage, she was shunned, and the father didn't claim Elmond as his own. Nevertheless, his mother did all that she could to raise him, and his grandmother helped when she could. Soon enough, a lady of higher prowess learned of their situation, and had a soft spot for them, taking them into her home and having Elmond educated ever better than he was. And, he showed great knowledge and ability as he was taught, soaking in the material as if his brain had unlimited space and storage. He shone in academics, as well as making friends with many of his colleagues in school and the manor in which he lived. His mother and the lady, meanwhile, had grown quite affectionate with each other, and Elmond saw them both as his mothers. He thrived in school, graduating very early. Though it hurt him to leave his mothers, he promised that he'd wrote to them about what he was up to and visit every once and a while before going off to teach in Ignis.

⌜THOUGHTS ON CURRENT ISSUES⌟
Elmond really doesn't like all of the fighting and such between the kingdoms. He believes that they can find peace and that the fighting is unnecessary.

His mother (not his blood mother) taught him how to fight with a quarter staff and staff, so he carries one with him wherever he goes. He's also got a pet crow, Ignacio.
