"Waffle is here too?!" I ask in excitement. Poor puppy has been neglected so much recently, I really need to make it up to him. Jungkook nods with a smile. "He wasn't allowed out of the room because the others feared he would be in the way, so he's patiently waiting in the sort of apartment we were sent to. You can see him as soon as we're done checking your vitals" he says before playing with my hair softly, the touch making me lean into his hand.

It's currently only an hour after my coming back to life. It's the middle of the night and that sleep was everything except restful, so I really can't wait to get to sleep again, but naturally, I have to push it back away to make sure I'm not going to suddenly die again.

Rain sits on the bed next to me. "You literally came back from the dead, so I'll scan your soul and body, make sure everything's fine. This is pretty unknown to us at the moment, your soulmate's ability just pulled your soul back to life, we need to make sure you won't have any setbacks anytime soon".

I turn to see Taehyung asleep on the couch in front of the bed, his head on Namjoon's lap while Jin gets his feet. "How is he?" I ask them. Namjoon smiles. "He's just exhausted. What he did drained him a lot, understandably". I nod, eyes going back to his face, mouth into a light pout while he breathes in and out slowly.

Jin massages his legs a little. "He'll be fine, Hun, focus on yourself for now, we're watching over him" he says, his ability still working hard on soothing us. "You should relax too, Jinnie, I think we'll be fine now even if you take a break" I say but he simply shakes his head with a smile.

"By soothing you all, I also soothe myself. Let me do this some more". I sigh softly and smile as I send him all the love I can muster, to him and all of the others, even to Jimin, Hoseok and Yoongi who went to check on Waffle and get the rooms ready for all of us.

The eyes that then turn to me are shining with stars and tears, thankful as they send back just as much to me. I missed this, even if we weren't separated for a long time. Being able to give them all of me instead of only getting all of them is so satisfying.

I'm so lucky to be surrounded by loving people. Mark had to leave the room with Park Seo-Joon to take care of something, but he made me promise to spend time with him when I feel better, something I owe him for almost dying. I obviously agreed, because I'd ask the same thing of him if it was him on his death bed.

"Alright, look at me please" Rain demands and I nod. Eyes meeting his, his fingers find their way to my head where he proceeds to make a full scan of my body and soul. My soul tries to reject his touch since it just went through trauma, but he carefully manages his way around so that he's not perceived as threat. Body tense and feeling a heavy fatigue about to overwhelm me soon, I squeeze Jungkook's hand as he stays by my side.

"We can go to sleep all together as soon as it's over" he tells me, knowing just how tired I am by looking into my eyes. I hum, loving the thought of being able to sleep in their arms again. "That sounds wonderful" I whisper, trying to focus on Rain so to not disrupt his scans.

The following minutes are quiet, Taehyung's breathing a constant sound that reminds me of just how much I owe him. How scared they must have been when they thought it was over. That I was gone forever. Imagining that hole filling my soul scares me, so to have made them experience that feeling...

A soft caress against my soul, gently pushing back the negative feelings to replace them with positive and warm ones makes my eyes close for a moment and I feel my body become like a rag doll before arms wrap around me to pull me against a hard chest.

"Okay, I think that's enough for now, she's exhausted and that wave of calm just broke down her last barriers" I hear Rain say in a chuckle. The bond envelops me like a blanket and my eyes won't open anymore.

"Her soul is recovering quickly and the memories have been pushed back further than before. Whatever your soulmate did also gave her soul the strength to fight stronger against the threat, so I think the next ones will be less intense for a while. Still, we shouldn't count on that for too long and proceed with sealing them away little by little. You should all get to your place for a good night sleep. Tomorrow will be off so you can spend time with her, but after that, you'll be given some tasks".

I try to open my eyes and whine softly when I can't, sleep pulling me in harshly. "Shh, you can stop fighting, Marshmallow, I'm not letting go of you" Jungkook whispers before his soft lips press on my cheek and nose. I snuggle into his chest, unable to hold onto the light any longer and darkness surrounds me.

Jungkook's POV

Scooping her up in my arms, I turn around to look at Namjoon and Jin. "Let's go back to the others" I whisper, see them nod before they proceed to put Taehyung on Namjoon's back, Jin staying by his side to make sure our sleeping soulmate doesn't fall.

Holding her tightly against me, we follow Rain out of the room and stand by the door a moment. He then turns to me. "I can already tell you you'll be working with me during your stay here, your ability is going to be useful to me. If possible, I'd like to scan your soulmate in a few days, once he's recovered. I've heard rumors of soulmates being able to revive their dead soulmates in the past, but I always thought it was only a story, I want to see how it affected his soul and body".

Namjoon's part of the bond becomes wary. "Are you going to try and force him to do this again" he asks through clenched teeth. Rain shakes his head. "I don't think we could use it even if we wanted to. What happened probably only was possible because of his love and memories for her. You said his ability is clairvoyance, right? He can find what he thinks about. He must have been very panicked and his soul somehow found a way to reach out to hers, in other terms, his clairvoyance became somewhat of a... soulvoyance. It adapted in a situation of crisis and probably will never happen again".

Amazement for Taehyung only grows stronger and I just want to smother him in kisses and hugs when he wakes up. My soulmates are so wonderful. Namjoon finally nods and we part ways after thanking him.

As we make our way back to our temporary home, I think back to what happened tonight. It was definitely a trying event, one I'm not ready to experience again. Feeling Y/N disappear from my soul was the scariest thing to ever happen to me. To all of us.

"Taehyung is a hero. I'm going to be grateful towards him for the rest of my life" Namjoon declares, his voice filled with pride and love. Jin and I hum in agreement. "He really is".

Once we reach the doors leading to our other soulmates, Jin proceeds to open it since Namjoon and I are already busy with a body. We enter inside and hear feet rush to the entrance as we remove our shoes.

The first thing I notice is a fluffy fur puppy run into the room and I hear him whine when he sees Y/N passed out in my arms.

Waffle really wanted to see her awake and show her how much he loves her and missed her, but sensing her tired soul makes him really sad. He sniffs her hand and licks her fingers, hoping it could comfort her. His soulpaw is such a warrior, fighting the way she does. He needs to do better to protect her, even if all he can do is be by her side.

"She's going to be okay Waffle, she's just sleeping" I tell the pup, see the way he looks at me with concern in his eyes. Poor pup hasn't seen her in the best of states recently. Yoongi suddenly appears from the corner of the wall and I see the way his posture relaxes once he sees us all.

"They both fell asleep" Yoongi murmurs as he gazes at our two passed out soulmates, his bond going soft at the sight. Jimin and Hoseok appear behind him and smile too. "We connected two beds together so we can all fit in, I don't think sleeping alone will happen for a while" the latter whispers as he guides us to a huge bedroom.

I stare at Y/N in my arms. "How do we change her clothes? It would be better for her to sleep in her pyjama" I mumble before looking up to meet their eyes. The bond becomes a little tense, eyes looking at each other to find a solution.

"We could... change her under the blankets? That way we won't see anything" Jimin offers, a little shrug of his shoulders as he looks at the bed. I hum. "That could work... we just have to be careful" I mumble before heading to the bed.

Yoongi pulls the blanket away so I can set her on the mattress and once she's comfortable, he covers her with them. Namjoon sets Taehyung down on the bed as well, taking care of undressing him while we take care of Y/N.

Waffle stands aside, knowing he can't do anything to help but still going to keep an eye on his soulpaw's soulmates to make sure they don't do anything out of place. He knows they can feel his gaze on them and that's enough for him.

Jin walks to the bed with a cute little nightdress, something that will be easy to put on her and so we proceed to carefully remove her shirt and bottom. It's a bit struggling, especially with her bottoms, my fingers almost pulling down her underwear along with the rest and if my red face isn't enough to warn them, I know the bond doesn't hide much. This is so embarrassing.

Once done, I lift her up slightly by the shoulders while Hoseok and Jimin lift her arms. Jin comes closer and slowly proceeds to put each limbs through the nightdress's holes, then sliding it down her figure until she's covered by the soft cloth. I turn to Namjoon to see him almost done with Taehyung as well, but I still help him for the last piece of clothe.

Now over, we sigh, glad that the mission ended without much complications. "Alright, let's put on our pyjamas and head to bed too" Jin says with a tired voice, the hours of lost sleep getting back to us quickly. We all hurry, bundles of clothes on the ground going to be cared for another time, our souls too focused on cuddling the soulmate we lost and got back in less than an hour with the soulmate who saved our souls from endless suffering.

Yoongi and Jin sandwich Y/N between their bodies, emotionally exhausted and holding onto her for dear life, Namjoon behind Jin, his arm under his older soulmate to rest on Y/N's waist while I cuddle Taehyung with Jimin, Hoseok spooning me so we can all have someone to soothe our need for contact.

The bed dips at our feet and I look up to see Waffle making his way towards her feet, nose sniffing a little before pushing his body between her legs. He then turns around many, many, many times and once satisfied, drops his body down on the mattress to set his head on her knee.

I take a moment to gaze at my soulmates, some of them already falling asleep. Bond feeling much more peaceful now, eight bodies reunited on the bed. Well, nine if I add Waffle. But to see our soulmate group finally together again, it fills my heart with so much joy and contentment.

I lie back down and meet eyes with Jimin. He smiles as me and reaches for my hand, squeezing it softly as he sends all his relief and love through the contact. "Sleep now, Kookie, you're exhausted too" he whispers, the calm loving waves he sends slowly soothing me to sleep.

"You sleep too, Jiminie" I murmur, eyes closing as I feel Hoseok press himself into my back, a light kiss on the top of my head before he wraps an arm around my waist.

"Goodnight, pups" he whispers, his and Taehyung's breathing lulling me to sleep until darkness remains.

Waffle back in the game yalllll. I'll be honest, since I introduced him, there have been times where I completely forgot about him! So once a chapter was done and I started rereading everything, and it happened many times, I would suddenly remember that Waffle was supposed to be there as well and had to modify the chapter lmaoooo. Don't worry for this one, I left notes everywhere to make sure to remember about fluffy fluff because he deserves some love too! 🤣 But yeah I still focus more on BTS, obviously, so sorry about that. I'm doing my best here  😭
