The whole school was avoiding me. They believed that I pushed innocent lovable Lily in front of the bus. Admittedly that was the last thing I wanted to do.

Piper sat across from me and passed me an apple. I looked at her surprised. One part of me wanted to buy her a mansion for even glancing in my direction and another just wanted to tell her to go back to her friends and bitch about me.

"Lily's being missing you, you know." Piper said looking down at the table sadly. "Really?" I asked hoarsely. "Yes. S-she screamed your name in her sleep a lot." Piper said looking at me. "Oh." I said lamely. Usually Lily said that.

I laughed bitterly. "What?" Asked Piper. "Lily usually says oh that's all." I said weakly.

I got the courage to walk over to Lily's house with Regina accompanying me. Regina knocked on the door. "Hello Mrs. Mason, we've come to see Lily." Regina said holding some flowers.

"Oh bless you. Are you Kylie?" She asked. I nodded. "Oh finally. We've been waiting. She's been whining about you for weeks." Mrs. Mason said sadly. "Puppy love, am I right?" She said turning to Regina.

I walked upstairs holding flowers. "We have a special visitor for you, Lily." Said Mrs. Mason. Lily stared blankly at the wall and sighed. "Is it the doctor again, Mom?" Lily asked annoyed.

Finally her eyes landed on me "Kylie? What a lovely surprise!" Lily said smiling tiredly. "I'll leave you two." Mrs. Mason said leaving.

"Sorry that I acted like so... Gay." She said quietly. I put my finger to her lips. "Don't you dare apologise. If anything it should be me." I said. "No it's my..." Lily started.

"Will you shut up?" I snapped putting my hand over her mouth. "Okay good. Anyway. Sorry for being a jerk and homophobic. It was kind of dumb. I mean since I'm gay myself. And I guess I just admired your ability to be yourself." I said solemnly.

Lily smiled as I brought away my hand. "Thank you." She whispered before falling asleep.
