Our heroes were walking around as they saw lots of trainers preparing for the next pokemon contest

Jacob: Wow, everyone here is excited for the next pokemon contest.

May: including me, remember there are just two weeks until the next pokemon contest opens.

Beautifly release some forms of silver wind but it stops

May: Ahh. Oh no not again! we keep messing that one up!

Max: you might not want to use that move in the contest yet,may.

May:but if we could use silver wind for the contest it would blow everyone away,I know it!

Jacob: Then we just gotta keep trying, you know what they say "practice makes perfect".

May:alright beautifly now from the top!

May: here goes! *Tosses 3 firsbes again*beautifly use gust again!*beautifly uses it and gets it right launching them up and begin to return again to may*

Jacob: alright so far so good.

Unfortunately one of them went over her head and started to go toward a green haired boy at the stairs

The boy caught it easily with one hand

Drew:*spinning the firshbe* Please don't tell me you're entering the contest with a cheesy act like that!

Drew:is that so well she better prepare or yourself cause I don't see what people see in her*points to may* while you might be a challenge. Plus your mother hasn't even coordinated in a long time so she's lost that spot.

Jacob: my mother was one of the greatest coordinators of all time, way better than you in every way!

Drew:Well now. Lets see if you her kid could live up to her legacy. You got lucky on the first contest.

Jacob: luck had nothing to do with me winning, now unless you got something nice to say to my friend here I suggest you leave.

drew:Hm well you do know this beach is a private one for that resort over their*points behind him*and you don't seem to be in it so I don't see why you're on private property without permission.

Jacob: Fine then, we'll leave, I'd rather go somewhere where jerks like you aren't around.

Drew: Well good Luck son Of the "Blue goddess". I hope your time of being known like that would get over since you're just a replica of your mother and use her name to have something for yourself in a contest.

Jacob:...guys, hold budew

Brock grabbed budew

Jacob: Listen here buster, I'm not using my mother for anything, I'm doing this because I want to, I work hard for this and I didn't come here to hear jerks like you mock me and my mother.

Drew: Well don't let yourself get all in yourself and hope that the coordination announcers use a new nickname instead of the son of the blue goddess.*begins to head back to the resort*

Jacob just stood there in silent rage

Jacob:.....

Budew Jumped from Brock onto Jacob's shoulder and gave him a small hug.well,More of a nuzzle.

Jacob:(calmed down) (sigh) let's go guys.

Jacob then walked away with budew on his shoulder

It now Jessie's turn to training but everyone noticed that jacob was occupied letting some anger out by punching a bunch of boulders

Jacob: GRAH! (Crushing a boulder) who the hell does that guy think he is!

He then pick a massive boulder up and slammed it to the ground crushing it

Jacob: He thinks he can make fun of me and my mother! I think NOT!

Jacob then crushed the biggest boulder with one punch

Max: man drew has him riled up if he doesn't calm down or start training he will not have the right state of mind.

Brock: I have to agree with him in this state he'll need some time to let off a lot of steam since Drew just had to insult him and his mother.

They then see jacob lifting a massive boulder and ripping it in half with ease

Jacob: GRAAAAAAH!

jessie:hmmmm.*begins to think*Oh I've got an idea!*grabs budew*Hey sweetie I want you to do mommy a favor and help your daddy calm down,and if he doesn't Just return and we'll give him a piece of our Mind.*finishes with a red wavy aura*

Budew nodded as she walked up to jacob who was now sitting down with an angry look on his face

Budew jumps onto jacobs lap and begins to let jacob Pet her

Budew: Daddy Momma jessie wanted me to help you calm down.You have been at it with all the big rocks!

Jacob:(sigh) sorry sweetie, daddies are a bit upset with that guy you saw.

budew: Well yeah He might have just disrespected gram gram and daddy but do you really want him to just cloud your head with the dumbness he just said?

Jacob:(sigh) your right, I gotta stay focus, i gotta prove to him that my bloodline is still fresh

Budew:Yeah! And when I grow up I want to help you in making sure he doesnt be rude to daddy again!

Jacob get back up as bluey appeared next to him

Jacob: Come on bluey, let's prove that mosshead jerk who we really are.

Bluey nodded as they went back with the other

Jacob: indeed it did, I gotta get as much training done, I don't know what drew has in store but I need to be prepared for anything, let's do some battling.

The match was set, jacob vs may

Jacob: alright bluey, let's do this

May:cmon beautifly let's do this!

The battle begins

May: alright beautifly use tackle now!

Beautifly flew towards bluey

Bluey use rollout as he rolled into beautifly and manage to hit her

May:oh no beautifly!

Beutifly is still floating but is hurt from the rollout.

May:now use string shot on bluey!

Bluey was struggling to get out

May: alright c'mon and use silver wind while it's trapped!

Beautifly used silver wind unfortunately is failed again

May: oh no.

Jacob: My turn, bluey use fire fang!

Bluey's mouth became covered in flames as he bit down on the string, all of the string then burned away as bluey was free

Brock:Wait, how did blue use a fire fang? I thought it was a water dragon?!

Jacob: Actually bluey's typing is unknown, what I do know is that he's able to learn a ton of moves of any type.

may:Huh?! That's kind of more mysterious!

Jacob: Yep, now then blue uses an ice beam!

Bluey launched an ice beam at Beautifly, the beam managed to freeze one of her wings

May: beautifly Oh no! Try using an aerial ace!

Beautifly was unable to as she fell to the ground and crash landed

Brock: This match is now over.

Bluey nuzzled against jacob

Jacob: hehe great job bluey.

May:you did great beautifly return*returns beautifly*

???:Ah, that was quite the battle.

They all then saw this guy

Mr big: most impressive attack.

May: oh I don't know about that.

Mr big went up to jacob instead

Mr big: you are entering the pokemon contest correctly.

May just slouched in disappointment

Jacob: Yes I am, but so is my friend here.

Mr.big:ah well you must be prepared for it because it's coming sooner or later.

Jacob: Indeed, we're actually training right now.

Mr.big:ah nothing better then training and seeing the new moves and combinations weve never seen or done before or made better!

Jacob: yep.

May:well might we ask how you know alot sir?

Mr.big:well my dear friend I am an expert of coordinations!

May:really!?

Jacob: Is that so, maybe you might know my mother, she was called the blue goddess.

Mr.big:Ah yes jewel the blue goddess! She was quite the champion at it might I add as well as a born pro on her first performance she had won with ace high!but sadly she retired and well you came and such a lot of people have now gotten used to the new champions here and there she's basically one of the inspirations for others.

Jacob: Well, I'm glad to know that my mother is an inspiration to fellow coordinators.

Mr.big:Of course sometimes through her years of course her grace was going great and when she had announced her retirement it was a big hit from the coordination industry.She was like an inspiration that had been gone by the blink of an eye.

Jacob: I see, well I'm hoping I can keep up her honor which is why I'm participating in the next contest.

Mr.big:Kid you might not just be an honor you might even help bring back the shine your mother brought and maybe renew her title into the blue poke god. And show that the flame of coordination will not light out.

Jacob: I will sir.

May: you've got to teach me everything sir!The works,how not to lose,how to win,how to think,to say what to feel, what to think!!

Jacob:(holding may back) calm down may.

Mr.Big:Now now now!please settle down.

May: yes sir,

Mr. Big: first off the most important skill a pokemon coordinator can have is to stay calm.

May: staying calm really?

Jacob: he's right, when a coordinator is nervous the pokemon can feel it which can cause problems for them.

Brock:So keeping a level head is important to be a pokemon coordinator?

Mr. Big: That's right.

Meanwhile the rest of the teams pokemon were resting when may's torchic woke up and smelled something coming from a nearby building, he ran off to check it out

Mr.big: one more thing!they more than become a coordinator by just training. It's important to keep an eye on what they eat as well!

May: really diet?

Mr.big:That's right, take this for example!*takes out a weird stick with a pokeball design on top*

Jacob pulled out his blue pokeblock case and ate some of the blocks

Time Skip to a bit with them walking

Max:wow so your job is making fireworks sir?

Mr.big:That's correct, now I'm working on pokemon fireworks!

Jacob:(gasp) you make pokemon fireworks!

Mr.big:well it's a work in progress but I'm close to cracking down on the recipe.

Jacob:I love pokemon fireworks, my parents use to take me to this world every years to watch them go off, every time they went up in the sky they burst into picture of beautiful pokemon, oh I loved seeing those things fly, they never failed to impress me

Mr.Big:Yes but I'm having trouble making the colors different for them*with his hand to his chin* And to make matters worse I have to have samples for the festival chairman by tonight.

Torchic came out the shed with its back turned

May:torchic are you ok?

Torchic turned around as his face was all black Jacob instantly covered budew's eyes

Jacob: Dear god!

Budew:Hey, why can't I see?

Jacob: it's too much sweetie trust me

Budew Pout but just stays silent

Mr.Big:OH NO! *goes inside the shed and checks his box*

Jacob: What happened mr big?

Mr Big:well I left a bunch of bluk berries.but it seems that torchic has eaten them all.

Jacob: Of course, bluk berries stain your face black when you eat them, that happened to me many times.

Mr Big:Well yes they are good for pokemon. It makes their coat or skin shiny but those were the only bluk berries I've gotten in order to experiment on the fireworks to make them have an amazing outline and color. but sadly they have all been eaten.

May:I'm sorry! Say your sorry torchic*making torchic have her head on the floor*

Jacob: Please stop hurting your torchic.

Mr.Big.wait it's really not torchics fault it was more mine to have it be in the open while having this place open wide.

May :Mr Big! Ill go find you some more bluk berries!

Mr.big:You will?

May:When's the latest I can get them for you?!

Mr. Big: Before dark.but finding them is not going to be easy!

May: DON'T YOU WORRY, I got this!

She then ran off

Jessie:yep she's definitely not going to find them at all.

Jacob: definitely not alone, come on let's go bluk berry hunting.

Everyone was now looking for bluk berries

Jacob was now on top of a tree.

May:Oh c'mon where can they be...

Jacob: There are none up here.

Budew appeared next to jacob

Jacob: Did you find anything sweetie?

Budew: Nope! but I found these blue ones!*takes out some Oran berries*

Jacob: oh sweetie, those are oran berries, we need bluk berries.

Budew: Oh. *begins eat one as her face got covered in blue oran juice* yummy!*lets out a puff of relief*

Jacob: Okay sweetie you got to enjoy your berries while daddy looks for a different type of berry.

Budew:Ok!*begins eating other berries while looking at the others*

Everyone came back with no berries, however jacob and budew's came back with a bunch of berries

Jacob: we're back.

May:Yes and sadly there was no luck on bluk berries.

Jacob: Well I got these, none are bluk but you know, we got enough for a while. *eating one of them*

Budew:more blue please!

Jacob handed her an oran berry as she ate it

Budew:So good!*finishes and has a lot of the juice from the oran berry on her mouth*

Jacob: maybe we should call it a day, it's been hours and we haven't found a single bluk berry.

They start walking until they saw torchic found one from a branch on the side of a cliff

May:torchic you found some! That's good but you're currently on the side of the cliff so be careful.

Jacob: I'll get it.

Jacob climbed up as was about to grab it until a certain green haired boy grabbed it first

Drew: well if it isn't a poke boy and his pack of wolves.

Jacob: you! What the hell are you doing here?

Drew:Oh I'm just looking for some good old bluk berries to help out my roselia and with that I shall be heading off.

Jacob: oh no you don't, we need that bluk berry and we're not leaving without it.

May:Yeah so get going!

Drew:Well If it isn't Mrs.bland Why good day I'd tip my hat to you but I dont have none so for now I'll just give you a smug look.*does so*and this will be my time to go.*starts walking abit until*

May :Oh yeah! Why don't you show us why you act so tough!Maybe you're afraid of me and jacob!

Drew: Oh I'm not scared so why not have a small battle to let that attitude of yours to be adjusted!

The both go across each other and begin the pokemon match with brock being the referee

Brock:Let the match begin!

May:come on out beautifly! she summons beautifly*

Jacob: go get him may!

Budew:Yah go mamma may!

Drew:Come on and show this girl what you can do Roselia!*he summons Roselia*

Jacob: Roselia, that's what you will be when you grow up sweetie.

budew:yeah!

Drew: alright let's begin with petal dance!

Drew's Roselia just then summoned a whole lot of petals and started to go toward beautifly

Roselia spins around quickly and pink petals fly out of it and spiral towards the beautifly

beautifly begins to get hit by a lot of the petals and flies up to avoid any others and begins to prepare itself

May:Beautifly Let's show him what we've got Now use gust!

Beautifly was too dazed out from the attack

Drew: alright roselia use stun spores on beautifly!

Roselia released orange powder from the flowers on her hands at beautifly

The attack stun beautifly as she fell to the ground

May: beautifly are you alright?!.

Drew:Oh ho,that was easy.I expected a lot more from you then that. Roselia finishes it off with magical leaf!

Roselia releases glowing white leaves from the flowers at the end of its arms at beautifly

May:Please beautifly Wake up!

Jacob:(mind) oh no, this is bad, I gotta help her!

Jacob began to speak to may telapthically

Jacob:(telepathically) May,can you hear me?

May:(mind)Huh Jacob What is it?!

Jacob:(telepathically) min speaking to you telepathically now just listen, you're too stressed you need to calm down if you want to win.

May:(mind)But I don't know what to do.

Jacob:(telepathically) trust me, you will when your calm, being calm opens you mind, easier to think of ways to win that way, it's how I win in every battle, im always calm and now you have to be.

May:(mind)alright I'll try.*she begins to calm down to a point*Alright I think Im good to go!

Jacob:(telepathically) good now go show this guy what you're made of, quick magical leaf is about to hit!

May: alright beautifly lets go, use silver wind!*abit more confident*

beautifly got back to regular and stopped being affected by stun spore and dodged magical leaf and finally did a successful silver wind which collided with magical leaf

Drew:No way!

roselia was sent back flying

Drew: No roselia!

Jacob: YES! GET HIM MAY SHOW EM!

May: Alright, Beautifly now's our time! Use aerial ace!

Beutifly then flew toward roselia and managed to Hit her, sending her skitting back and had been knocked out

Brock: The match is now over, the winner is may.

Jacob:(jumping up in joy) YES, OH YES YOU WON!

Drew:Hm You might have something but I'd say that was more on the timing for you to regain yourself But anywho I won't be needing this so have it as some sort of prize or whatever*tosses the branch with the bluk berry*

Jacob: You can make any excuse you want Drew but just know to never mess with me and my friends.

Drew: Oh whatever mommas boy. Last I remember your dealing with some toughnuts of each region you go to like team rocket and team savage Maybe They have a better reason to be doing all that.*returning roselia*

Jacob: Tell you what buster, we'll settle this during the contest, I won't be going easy on you so you better bring you A game or get ready for a quick loss.

Drew: Yeah yeah Contest battle Blah blah blah. Oh By the way *giving him a smuggler look* My budew was way cuter than that.*points at budew and starts leaving*

Jacob instead stood there in silent as drew left

Jacob:(grin) hehehehehehehe

The others were confused

Jacob: oh drew, you just made the biggest mistake ever, i'm gonna enjoy beating you, (to may) may, good job beating him.

May: Hehe thanks jacob.

Jacob: anytime, though the odds are that one of us might battle him, if he somewhos wins against you just know I'll make sure he pays

It was nighttime now as the others were waiting for the fireworks

Jacob: Are you ready to see some fireworks sweetie?

Budew:Yeah!*excitedly jumping*

Soon the fireworks went off, soon they saw that two of them blew up in the shape of jacob and budew

Jacob: woah, it's me!

Budew:IT'S ME!!*begins to jump up and down on jacobs lap*

Jacob: Yes, it is sweetie.

Jacob then sighed as he placed his arms over may's shoulder which made her blush

May:(mind)OH god he's got his hands over me what do I do!?!

Budew then walk up and pushed may closer to jacob

May:Huh! Hey what was that for budew?

Budew then stood there with a smile on her face

Jacob: guess she wants us to be together.

May:(blushing)I guess.

Budew begins to yawn and the fireworks were finishing and the final batch began to explode into the sky

Jacob:(sigh) they're quite pretty huh.

May:Yeah I guess so.

Jacob: But I think you're prettier.

May:(mind) What did he just say! (out loud) well thank you jacob*getting back her composure*well It seems like budew has tired herself out a bit.*points to the woozy nearly asleep budew on jacobs lap*

That night was was cuddling with the girls as budew was sleeping on a pillow next to them

Jacob: She is so adorable when she's asleep.

Sabrina: Mhm. She enjoyed that firework show as well as the ending. It was all great.

Jacob: Yep, we should get some rest. We got a lot of training to do tomorrow, (sigh) I can't wait to beat drew.

Jessie: Mhm he was quite one of the rudest persons we've encountered.

Jacob: I don't like how he made fun of budew.

Sabrina: well If he says anything more about her I swear there will be one opponent less to deal with.*with a red aura and eyes all white*

Misty:alright sabrina You need to calm down Drew's just going to get what he deserves!

Jacob: That's right, I'll make sure he pays. He'll regret messing with us, now let's go to sleep.
