"Stay where you are, Lucy!" said Jude Heartfilia. Lucy nodded. Pirates had attacked the capital of Fiore, Magnolia. Jude Heartfilia ran down the staircase to deal with them. Lucy looked out of the window. The pirates were trying to burn everything.

Lucy watched her father go towards the castle. She was just going back in, when she saw a pirate put the building in which she was on fire. She yelped.

"Oh no! I must escape!" she said to herself. She pulled out a dress to wear since she was in her nightgown. She grabbed her locket and went out of the building. Suddenly a blonde man grabbed her wrist and started dragging her. From the clothes and the torch in his hand, she knew he was a pirate. Her heart sank horribly. He threw her onto a ship.

"Rouge, tie 'er up," he said to a black haired man. He nodded and picked up Lucy like a sack of potatoes. Lucy kicked and thrashed.

"Stop movin' so much, girly," he said with a warning look. Lucy stopped in fear. He tied her up to a pole. Lucy glanced​ around and saw she was the only one captured.

Great, I am the only one- she thought. As soon as she thought this she wished she hadn't because the man named Rogue brought a bluenette who was thrashing.

"Stay shut, okay?" He said.

"You'll pay! Listen to me, you free me and her!" She said when she saw Lucy. Rouge tied her and went away ignoring her completely.

Lucy saw she was wearing a loose white full sleeved shirt and brown loose pants which were tied with a red strip of cloth. Her blue hair were tied by a orange and brown ribbon. She also had a small dagger with which she started hacking her ropes from behind.

"Well, looks like we have two beauties today," said a voice. Lucy turned and saw a man standing in front of them. He turned and said something to the blonde haired boy. The bluenette grabbed Lucy's attention and threw to her the knife.

Lucy started hacking at her ropes when the man spoke again.

"The blonde haired one looks like a princess. This other one, wait" He crouched down in front of her. "Where?"

"My back," she said, sticking her nose up. The man roared.
"Sting, what have you done? We have made a huge mistake! Back to port. I repeat back to port!"

"Sorry," said the bluenette. Everyone looked at her. "You're too late"

Suddenly, Lucy heard a cannon fire and the ship she was in, catched a fire.
Everybody started going frantic. Lucy looked to her right and saw another ship bearing a weird sign.

Underneath it were the words - Fairy Tail. Suddenly, a man with lots of piercings​ came from that ship.

"Don't touch shorty, or you face me," he said.
"Oh no, cap, it's Gajeel!" Shouted one man. He brandished a sword and started fighting them.

Suddenly, a lot of people flooded in the ship, which was probably named Sabertooth.

"You done with your bindings?" asked the bluenette. Lucy nodded and stood up. "'M Levy McGarden by the way. Come on, let's take you to safety"

Lucy followed her. Suddenly, a pink haired boy jumped on the ship and went for Sting.
"Sting! Fight me!" He shouted.

Levy caught a rope. A raven haired boy jumped on the ship. He winked at Levy then went after Rouge.

"Take this," said Levy giving her the rope. Lucy took it and Levy pushed her. Lucy screamed. "Juvia, catch her!"

Another bluenette caught her and she toppled inside. Levy came and took her inside a room. She went away for god knows what. [I do know ;) ]

After what felt like hours, finally the door opened. Levy stood there.

"C'mon, Captain wants​ to meet you," she said. Lucy followed her. The pink haired boy from before was talking to the pierced guy, Gajeel. The raven haired one was staring at the pretty bluenette who had grabbed her, Juvia.

"This is our captain, Erza Scarlet," said Levy introducing her to a scarlet haired woman.

"Nice to meet you, what's your name?" She asked.
Lucy gave a sigh of relief. At least it was a girl.

"Lucy, er, Lucy Strauss," she said. She had just picked up a false surname at random. Everybody started to laugh. "Why are you all laughing?!"

"There's only one Strauss family remaining and they are on board. You're lying," said Erza. Lucy blushed.

"True name, please"

"Fine, Lucy Heartfilia"

"Wanna go back home?"

"What?!!"

"We can send you back home, if you want to"

"Really? Thank you very very much!" Lucy felt that she was lucky she ran into these good people. Little did she know that her life was going to change soon.
