The five royals were on their epic journey to Stiix to prove ones innocents. What they didn't know was that something or better yet someone was watching them.

"So what are we going to do once we get a piece of the frozen pond? Are we just going to go one by one to all the villagers and show them the past or something?" Lloyd asked taking the lead of the group. 

"Maybe we could go to the capital and show your dad" Kai said as he was walking beside Lloyd. 

"My dad won't be back until next week, so how would we show him?" Lloyd explained. 

Nya bumped into the conversation, "What about your uncle?" She asked him.

Lloyd turned to her stopping his tracks, "We could, but it's not like anyone would believe him. Everyone says he's crazy a wacko" He told her. 

"Well that doesn't mean we shouldn't try" Zane said. They all started arguing about who to go to and what to do, yet Jay didn't say one single word. 

The former prince was only listening to the sound of the forest, but to him it wasn't a good sign. Jay has encountered many things in the woods, but he was always able to get out of them himself not really with other people. All of a sudden he could hear hissing, "We need to move" Jay said sternly so everyone could hear him. 

They all looked at him confused, "What do you mean Jay?" Nya asked him.

Jay grabbed ahold of Nya's arm firmly, but gently as well, "Someone's watching us" He said as they were about to walk out until creatures with scales for skin and tails came right in their path.

"Well look what we got here boys" One of them hissed. 

Both Jay and Nya knew what these creatures were, "Serpentine" Jay murmured. More of the serpentine came from behind them and surrounded them in a circle. 

"Don't you remember us Walker? You made a couple of deals with us in the past" The serpent with the long blue tail said. 

"Skales I didn't expect to see you today. I thought you were with one of your wives for some one on one time" Jay said sarcastically. 

"What is this thing Zane?" Kai whispered to Zane. 

"This is the Hypnobrai tribe one of the most powerful serpentine around these parts" Zane told him.

"Well I wasn't very interested in any of them today, so I decided along with my other fellow serpentine to find you to pay your debt" Skales said as he got somewhat closer to the hurdled group of friends. 

Before Jay could respond Nya bump in, "Sorry, but we don't have any money for you, so if you don't mind we can be on our way" She said with a fierce voice. 

The snake just smirked, "We didn't mean that kind of pay. But you do look oddly familiar to me, boys bring me the paper" He commanded as one of the more smaller snake brought him a brown sheet of paper.

The snake looked pleased, "Well it looks like this young lady is a valuable one out of the group just like you thief. You know it's boring to turn people into the castle cause we know that no one would give man snakes money" The snake said. Jay was getting nervous about what he was saying and was pulling Nya closer to him. 

"I could forget your debt if I can get a kick out of your little princess for a one night stand" Skales bargained with a little smirk. 

Everyone of the royals looked at him in disgust, "Go die in a hole" Jay screamed at him as he got his nun chucks from his belt. The snakes start to charge at all of them, the royals got their weapons out and ready to fight. 

Jay was aiming for Skales and he was angry and you don't want to get the thief angry. Unfortunately Skales had the ability to hypnotize its victims, so for Jay it wasn't so good, but he might as well try. The thief was about to hit him with his nun chucks, but failed due to Skales using his tail to knock Jay off his feet. "Can't defeat me that easily" Skales hissed as his eyes started to glow red, but Jay looked away before he looked into his eyes. 

Still on the ground, Jay used his feet and hit Skales in the stomach making him fall as well, yet giving Jay the chance to stand up. Jay got his hand gun out of his belt and pointed it at Skales head, "If you don't want me to shoot you then call off your tribe and leave us" Jay demanded. Skales nodded quickly and stood up and ran the other way of Jay making all his serpents leave with him.

Jay huffed and puffed to turn around to see half of his team on the ground. Kai was running into a tree, Lloyd was clutching his stomach and soon vomiting into a bush, Zane had many bruises, and Nya a long bloody cut over her stomach. "What is the status over here?" Jay asked them as he went over to Nya. 

"Kai got hit with venom on his eyes making him see a different reality, another snake with a long black tail squeezed Lloyd to the point of him throwing up, Zane got held down by some snakes and was punched by another black one" Nya told him.

Jay looked down at her white shirt with blood on it, "And what about this" He said pointing to her stomach. 

"It's nothing" She quickly responded, but Jay didn't believe it for one second. 

"Don't lie to me Nya. I know it's causing you pain, so please tell me so I can help you" Jay begged as he took Nya's hand and kissed them. 

Nya took a deep breath, "I was caught off guard. I was shooting my arrows and one of the snakes managed to get one of my daggers and sliced me in the stomach" She confessed.

Jay looked at his team and then back at Nya, "We won't be able to get to Stiix like this" He said, "We need to find materials to fix all of you." Nya clutched her stomach as more blood was coming out of her body and felt a little dizzy. Jay got a hold of her and laid her down on the ground carefully before he unbuttoned Nya's shirt to revel the cut. It looked infected, so he ripped part of his sleeve and wrapped it around Nya's stomach. 

"You're losing too much blood and the only ones that are in good condition is Zane and Lloyd. I'll help you walk and Lloyd will guide Kai and Zane will try to get some walking in him" Jay said. 

"I can walk myself Jay" Nya said trying to sit up, but clutched her stomach in pain. 

"You can't barley see straight or walk for the matter. We're close by downtown Ignacia, so we could hang by Ronin's place until you are all healed" Jay assured her.

Jay took Nya's arm and wrapped it around his neck as he helped her stand for support. Lloyd finished throwing up and was trying to talk to Kai, but he kept yelling no since while Zane was being well Zane. "What do we now?" Lloyd asked Jay.

"What do you mean get cookies now! I am fighting gingerbread people for god's sake!" Kai yelled. 

"Kai that's a tree" Zane assured him. 

"They are not green Zane!" Kai screamed. 

Nya rolled her eyes and squeezed her eyes shut from her wound, "We need to get to Ronin's place" She said taking a breath of air. 

"How would we get this hot head to even move if he thinks we are gingerbread men?" Lloyd asked them. 

"Oh easy. Just grab a hold of his ear and drag him to wherever you want. It's his weak spot" Nya told him.

"Zane you do it" Lloyd commanded. 

"Why?" He asked. 

"Because I don't want to be the one he beats up when we get to Ronin's" Lloyd said nervously. 

"Fine" Zane agreed as he grabbed Kai's ear and started walking to where Jay and Nya were, "We ready?" Jay nodded and they started walking to Ronin's.
