There is a place called Ninjago where there is five different kingdoms that rules different parts of the land. The first kingdom is Ninjago City; it is the capital of Ninjago and is the biggest out of all the five kingdoms which is ruled by the first spinjitzu master's family. Then you have Jamanakai village; it is the second biggest and is the one of the most populated areas other than Ninjago City. It is ruled by the Royal Brookstone's. Next you have Stiix, it is surrounded by water and the platform is made of wood. It is the main source of water in Ninjago. This Kingdom is ruled by the Julien's. After that is Ignacia, one of the smallest kingdoms out of the five, but is the mainly known for it's military and weaponry. This comeback kingdom is ruled by the Smith's. And finally the last kingdom, nobody knows what the name of it is because it has been abandoned for almost 18 years after a protest went wrong.

This is not a story of the kingdoms going to war. No oh no. It's about the rules of the kingdoms specifically a princess named Nya. This is her story and how she changed her life.

In the small kingdom of Ignacia, the kingdom is ruled by the Smith's one of the most armed forces in Ninjago. The royals live in the fire temple where King Ray and Queen Maya rule, and there two children. Kai, the oldest of the siblings at age 19 and the next air to the thrown. He always wants to get the jog done, but sometimes can go a little over board with his temper. Nya, the youngest by two years, she is the complete opposite of her brother. She always thinks before she speaks, but don't underestimate her because she is no damsel in distress.

The raven haired girl was always different from the rest of the princess for one reason, she wants to fight in the battle not on the side lines. One early morning, the 17 year old girl went outside of the fire temple to ride her horse, River, to get some peace and quiet. The thing is she snuck a bow and a couple arrows along with her without anyone noticing. She rode River down to a peaceful creek where no one goes hunting or anything even though there were deer everywhere.

Nya jumped down from her horse and brought River down the stream to gets some water while the princess walked in front of a tree before backing away from it about 25 feet. She got her bow from her back and an arrow, she placed the arrow on the bow and aimed it towards a target high up in a tree. She let go of the arrow and just let it fly to the middle of the target.

"Yes!" the raven haired girl said quietly, "Another bullseye."

And then she heard a cracking noise and grabbed another arrow from her back and prepared herself to shoot. The noise became louder and Nya was not afraid to speak out, "Who's there?" She asked breathing heavily.

Then a figure jumped out of a bush and yelled, "Got yeah!" It yelled. Then the princess soon realized it was her hot headed brother, Kai.

"What are you doing here?" Nya said lowering down her bow, "I thought you were still asleep"

The soon to be king looked at her with a smile, "You really think that I can let you get away with something that you could get arrested for?" Kai joked.

She rolled my eyes at his comment, "What do you want then?" Nya asked him while walking away to get River.

"Mom said she wanted to talk to you. She said that it was something important for your future or something." He told me as Nya got on her horse.

"What for?" She asked once again.

"I don't know, but you really need to start growing up sis" Kai told her, "I mean you can't just shoot arrows for the rest of your life. You are going to become Queen one day and I don't think they do archery for a duty."

Nya glared at Kai, "Yeah, but I like doing archery and no one can tell me not to do it" Nya told him, "Do you have your horse nearby?"

Kai's face turned red and his eyes widened, "So that's what I forgot to do today" He said stupidly.

"Sometimes I can't believe that you're the next one in line for King" She said while holding out her hand to Kai, so that he could get on River. Kai accepted and sat behind Nya on the horse.

"You know I can ride River if you want" Kai reasoned.

"Kai I might be Queen one day, but that doesn't mean I should be lazy" Nya responded as she rode River along a path back to the fire palace. After a couple of minutes the siblings saw the beautiful sun set orange gate leading to there home. Once they reached the front gates a guard came from the corner of the gate to set in the code and let them in. Kai got off River first and lend a hand out for Nya, but she shrugged it off and got off the horse herself. A guard took River to the stable while Kai and Nya walked into the fire temples front doors.

"Kai, how long ago did mom asked you to find me?" Nya asked a bit suspicious.

"About less then an hour ago, why?" He asked before a figure walked in with a long navy blue dress and a diamond tiara on her head came down the stairs.

"Nya!" The lady yelled as she ran down the stairs and hugged her daughter, "Where have you been I've been worried sick about you. And why are you in peasants clothing?" The queen asked a little worried. Nya was in a tight long marron sleeve shirt with chest protectors, knee pads, arm pads, and was wearing long black leggings with nike shoes.

Nya didn't respond to what her mother asked her. She just swirled a piece of her hair around her finger hoping that she would asked a different question. "Never mind I don't want to know. But I do want to talk to you about something" Queen Maya said signaling Kai to go away. Kai walked away from the scene to his room higher up in the temple.

"What do you want to talk about mom?" The raven haired girl asked a bit annoyed.

"Follow me" Her mother said as she walked gracefully down the hall to the very large living room we had with big couches and chairs around a huge coffee table.

"Sit" The Queen demanded. Nya followed her order and sat down on the chair and looked at her mother.

"What is this all about mother? I know it has something to do with my future, but what is it" The princess asked out of breath.

"So you know how your father and I got an arranged marriage right?" Maya asked

"Yes" Nya responded.

"Well me and your father decided that you are going to marry prince Cole from Jamanakai village" The queen answered. Nya was shocked that her mother would even say something like that to her.

Nya was wanting to choose her own path not have it be chosen for her, "What!?! I am not marring that creep" Nya yelled at her mother, "If I want to get married than let me choose that choice."

"Nya I know that you're frustrated, but it would help our kingdom" Maya assured her.

Nya looked at her mother disbelieved and was getting angry, "I am not throwing my life away to get married to someone I don't even know or love" She told her.

Maya looked very disappointed in her daughter's reaction, "Don't say that about your future husband ,Nya. It's not lady like. Besides you need to get out of your foolish behavior" Maya raised her voice.

"He is not going to be my future husband mom. And you can't make me!" Nya yelled and ran out of the room with her mother shocked.

Nya ran with tears coming down her face with rage. She came to her room and slammed the door before locking it at well. The princess grabbed a satchel and put some clothes, archery gear, and money in it. Nya changed into a gray hoodie and ripped jeans before putting her hair up in a high ponytail. But before she could leave someone tried to open the door, yet it was locked. "Nya please open the door" a voice said that sounded like her mother. Nya needed to hurry, so she thought of the only way out. Her window.

Nya desperately unlocked the window and opened it feeling the cool breeze blowing against her skin. Before she jumped out  of it she murmured, 'I'm sorry.' and she jumped.

Nya's room was on the second floor so it wasn't a long fall. She landed on the cold hard grass, but was still okay, so she ran over to the stable and without anyone seeing her she grabbed River and her bow and arrows. She got on River and rode her like there was no tomorrow. The ravened head girl still felt betrayed and by her own parents too, by all people she had to get betrayed by it had to be them.

She pulled her hood over her head just in case and rode along to downtown Ignacia. Where she thought it would be a good place to lay low for a while. As she came down closer to downtown she was stopped by a single man and pointed a gun at both Nya and her horse.

"GET OFF THE HORSE OR I'LL SHOOT" He yelled strictly. Nya jumped off River, but stayed close.

"What do you want?" Nya asked the gunman with a stern voice. He was wearing a blue mask over his face, so she couldn't get a good look at him, but she could get a good look at his electric blue eyes. They were so beautiful.

"What's in the satchel?" The man asked lowering his gun down. She took my satchel from my horse's sattle and handed it to the blue man.

"All it has are clothes, gear, and a couple of bucks not much" Nya told him. The man looked at her weirdly and thought she was crazy for just handing him her stuff, but he didn't care. Didn't he?

"I'm going to have to asked for you to come with me" The man demanded.

Nya looked at him with a concerned look, "I'm not going anywhere with you" She told him, but then out of no where someone goes behind Nya and whacks her with block of wood, and she fell to the ground startling the horse. But then man in the blue took off his mask and the horse calmed down.

"It's alright, you don't need to be scared" The man assure River. He had dark brown hair that was a bit long, but stayed up in place. He's blue eye's carry concern and hope which you would not get from a common thief.

"What are you going to do with the girl, Jay" the other man said with a red handkerchief around his mouth.
"I feel like she would be good information for us Ronin. Beside she is the next ruler of Ignacia" Jay said with a smirk.

I'm doing another book!!! My other book Ninjago Civil war is about to end, so I wanted to go ahead and make a book for Jaya fans. Jaya is my OTP so I feel that this book would be perfect. Anyway comment down below of what you think of the first chapter and I will see you next time BYEEE!!!!
