We've all done it.

It just happens a lot more often for us.

The teacher begins to explain something.

And then...

You see an interesting thing on the wall, or out the window, or you begin to ponder something someone said and you break it down and make it super complicated. Complicated. Who came up with that word? Comp. Like computer. Computers are complicated.

Wait.

The teacher was explaining something!

And you missed it and have no idea what she said.

Dang it.

So you turn to your neighbor and ask, "what did she/he just say? I missed it"

Of course, your neighbor says

"Well you should've been paying attention"

And maybe they add "dumbass" on the end. Whisper or for you to hear.

So now you're screwed and you hate yourself for getting distracted. Why does this always happen?

Doesn't this annoy you? Can't people just be nice and tell us what we missed? We can't help it! It just happens!
