I'm just going to cut to the chase. This book is currently being discontinued.

To the people still reading The Prom Date, I am sorry for doing this to you because I know how disappointing it is when a book you're reading is suddenly forgotten. I know. I didn't think I'd get to this point, but I did. And I feel like this is the best option right now.

Here is why.

This book has had a great amount of readers giving up right from the start. I'm not sure where I went wrong, since I've been quite content with how this book turned out, but maybe it's also my lack of promoting which can be blamed. Regardless, this story reached a stagnating point, leaving only you, the people now skimming through this chapter. And that obviously disappoints me. But that's only one of the reasons why I decided to quit writing for now.

I'm also focusing on another part of my life right now; I want to take some time off, focus on school and exams, and have everything sorted out. And after I finish and find the inspiration to keep writing (maybe even create something new), I will be back. But until that moment, this book stays on hold.

I apologize once again for this, and I sincerely hope you understand.
